History and/or Information: {{Char |threadid=38585 |Avatar=Kaya Scodelario }} Blackbird is a neonate originally hailing from San Jose, where she has been present ever since her Embrace in 1993. Blackbird speaks very little of the woman she once was in life, though it is known her father was a Hunter and that, for much of her life, she traveled with him as a researcher of the occult, using her knowledge to assist him and his allies in their hunts. This changed when she met Michel Treve in 1991, who changed her mind regarding the Kindred forever and, after a tragedy that nearly killed her, he Embraced her two years later. Blackbird's retreat from San Jose was willful and seems to be spurred by some action of her sire. Though she rarely speaks of it, it is clear that Michel made her feel betrayed in some way. Nonetheless, she seems capable of navigating within her new home, which she owes in no small part to Michel's coaching and her near-constant presence in the Court of San Jose for over two decades. Blackbird was recently inducted into the local chapter of the Ordo Dracul, ending her longstanding neutrality as an Unaligned Kindred since her Embrace. It also represented a return to her studies, which had been ignored for much of her time in San Jose due to Michel's influence. ==Public Identity== Blackbird's public identity is Lisbeth Graham, an occasional regular on the Sacramento night scene, usually at dive bars. No one knows Beth, or B as she prefers, well enough to confidently say what she does for a living, and she usually doesn't stay long, occasionally leaving the bars with someone else in tow. ==Appearance== Blackbird stands 5’6” and bears a slender build. She is burnette, with wavy hair that cascades just a little past her shoulders when it isn’t in a bun or a messy braid. She appears to enjoy punk aesthetics, likely due to her own identification with the subculture in the early 1990s, but tends to dress more formally for Courts and occasionally prefers more subdued fashion. Blackbird also favors liberal use of eyeliner and eyeshadow, enjoying the contrast it has with her pale blue eyes. ==Daeva Curse:== Blackbird is a Glutton for Praise. Blackbird possesses an ego that is predisposed and easily swayed by praise and compliments of her ability. This abnormally high level of self-assurance often gets her into trouble. It is difficult for Blackbird to refuse a request when her ego is substantially stroked. Likewise, she also finds it difficult to refuse to take part in actions, even those which might put her in substantial risk, when one goads her through these same methods. ==QuickFacts/Hooks:== * Blackbird possesses a known interest and skill in the occult, being an established occult scholar * Blackbird is known member of the Ordo Dracul * It is known among the Kindred that know her that Blackbird is affiliated with the local underworld, namely the Black Market and the fencing of stolen goods.
