A pale young woman with dull green eyes and lank black hair. Her physique is like whipcord stretched over bones and a myriad of old, white scars are scattered in what might be patterns across her skin, though her clothing usually hides them. She favors loose, soft fabrics, usually in the form of hooded sweatshirts and sweatpants.

Avis says her shadowname is pronounced like "Aw-Vee".

Her Illinois ID states her name as Desirae Avis.

Those familiar with the Southern US can tell she speaks with a bit of a "Louisianan Twang".
