Kindred need protection from the elements, curious mortals, and even other meddlesome vampires during their daytime slumber. The need for protection dramatically increases during the far longer periods of torpor that many vampires endure. A vampire with this Devotion is able to transform himself into a statue that is virtually indistinguishable
from carved and chiseled stone. Truly persistent foes may be able to harm a vampire under the Gargoyle’s Watch, but it would be a mighty feat, indeed.
