The Block Party is a series parties at interconnected locations. The announcement was as follows:

The Asylum: where those with alternative taste go. A mixture of fetish: fantasy, bondage, & uniforms, all are welcome.

Tonight, counting down New Years with a four club block party, the club is filling. Regular, experienced patrons have been invited to exhibit Scenes, and inhibitions lower as bodies raise on the suspension gear.

Upon entering, a wristband is given, giving access to Avalon, Asylum, The Lily, and Reverence. A simple hole puncher marks off the free drinks.^[2]

At The Asylum

Mateo and Asa

• ^[3]Mateo Benavides Arrives at the Asylum hoping to run into Dog or one of the other vampires known to him. Mateo Runs doesn't find Dog but he does find the vampire in Asa Clarke.

• ^[4] The conversation is moved to a private to a private room where Asa Clarke relays that Dog has is either dead or has left the city.^[5]. The Alpha and the Apex Predator continue there conversation and agree to meet at a later date. On one condition, that Matthew Greene joins them. That meeting can be seen here: Alphas and Apexes

Rust and Chantay

• ^[6]Rust Mane and Chantay Jones have a conversation that seems to start out well as the two discuss things like experimentation, why they decided to come to the Asylum tonight, with Chantay saying she feels like a kid in a candy store. The Lion and the Wolf decide to take there conversation to the dance floor.

• After their time on the dance floor the conversation between the two people becomes a bit more intense.^[7] The two move on to discussing other activities that may happen tonight. The two decide to that some play may be in order dispite Rust Mane admitting he doesn't always "Play Well With Others". Then again Chantay has a good point in saying that one of the good points about the Asylum is that they do not need to Play Nice. The conversation comes to a temporary close with Chantay saying, "Why don't you just strap me to one of them and show me what you're capable of...hmm?"

• So the Kitty and Puppy are about to get on with playing but Rust Mane finds that he cannot bring himself to strap her up like this. Chantay does have to wonder and asks Rust Mane a pretty important question, at least important to their current situation. "if you can't bring yourself to participate in the activities that this place is known for what is it that brings you here?" Rust Mane admits that he has issuews with Impulse control which does not sit well with Chantay and she chooses to depart the company of the disturbed Lion. ^[8]

Victoria and Asa

• ^[9]Asa Clarke gives Victoria Stamford a startling hello by placing his hands on the woman. The Dominatrix nearly looses her patience until she sees who it is who is touching her, and is pleasantly surprised.

• After the pleasentries are exchanged the two Kindred proceed to enjoying themselves in the way that Asa and Victoria have become accustomed. ^[10]

"Now bring me a whip and prepare yourself," - Asa Clarke

"Yes Master, right away Master." - Victoria Stamford

• After Victoria is thoroughly whipped and Asa is "pleased, and satisfied,"^[11] Victoria is driven to the point of maddening frustration at the fact that Asa will not proceed to a more... physical relationship.^[12] Asa makes it known that she should be pleased with the relationship that they have developed. As Prince Clarke said,"I can fuck anyone I want". Once that is made clear Asa instructs Victoria to make herself available to Twist as the Daeva Priscus "has expressed an interest in Dom play."^[13]

Ash and Nika

• ^[14]Ash and Nika arrive from The Lily with Ash being impressed by Nika's VIP access. Nika explains that she knows the owner and then takes Ash on a tour of the club. The two then proceed to the dance floor where Nika leads, and helps Ash from causing a "New Years Dance Floor Massacre".^[15] After the dance the two decide to head back to Nika's place for some quiet conversation.

Chantay and Victoria

• ^[16]After a less then fruitful conversation with Rust Mane, Chantay Jones makes her around the club to find Victoria Stamford. Mistress Stamford tells Chantay that she just completed "the most divine whipping scene I've had in a while." The two women move on to discussing the BDSM lifestyle and how it is not for everyone. Victoria offers to walk Chantay through a short scene saying, "It wouldn’t be too involved though I’d really have to get to know you and your wants and needs before really getting into anything involved."^[17] Chantay accepts and the women proceed to a private room where Mistress Stamford properly breaks in the new arrival. Victoria also takes a liberty from Chantay feeding from her, much to the pleasure of both the women.^[18]

Club Avalon: a staple of Sacramento for nearly two decades now, where the DJ fills the dance floor and the bartenders fill glasses. The floor is filled, and the upper level balconies are beginning to.^[19]

Tonight, counting down New Years with a four club block party, the line is long -- the promise of free drinks guarantees a good crowd. The doorman filters out those that don't belong, and all the pretty ladies definitely belong.

At Avalon

Neil and Myah

• ^[20] Neil Fields and Myah Torsione catch up with each other for another event. The night starts out with some dancing, as is there way. The two let the music take them and are not shy, looking to Neil's inner monologue we see his opinion: Why not show the whole floor who the best couple was?

• After some very impressive dancing the two Neil and Myah make there way over to the bar for a drink. Neil is curious as to how is it that Myah has always been a VIP at the Avalon.^[21]. Myah explains that the owner of the Avalon and the owner of Ballo Della Notte have a good working relationship, and that relationship comes with some perks. Myah explained it to Neil like this, "The owner of the theater is on really good terms with the owner of Avalon. And I've worked at Ballo Della Notte for a while myself so I get a couple perks from the owner knowing me fairly well."

The Sworn

• ^[22]Mateo Benavides arrives and has a impromptu meeting of The Sworn, at least thats how it seems. Mateo subtly explains about his meeting with Asa Clarke, "Oh by the way, I got some shit I need to tell you, met Sofia's boss tonight, and I mean the "big boss" their societies Alpha I believe." Cory Duncan doesn't seem exactly pleased with the idea of meeting or allying with the Kindred Society, as Cory Duncan's inner monologue tells us, "What hole are you digging for us, Boss."

• Cory Duncan relays to Mateo that he was, unknowingly, in another pack's territory, "I was at the Lily with Mandy. I didn't realize that was Howlers territory. One of them let me know. He didn't get rough, just verbally marking his territory, but, well, I just want you to know." Mateo isn't pleased but lets it go quickly, deciding it would be a better idea to have a good time tonight.

Mateo, Myah and Neil

• ^[23]Mateo, Myah and Neil run into each other again. They had all met at the Glissade Tournament where Mateo took second to Neil. The three talk for a bit about sparing again before going there separate ways.

Alice and Enzo

• ^[24]Alice and Enzo arrive at the Avalon and make there way out onto the dance floor for as they call it, "A little bump and grindm," and some whitty banter. Enzo does not hide the fact that he is full of himself referring to himself as, "Cute, talented Bastards and smoking hot."

• ^[25]Enzo kisses Alice but backfires a bit with Alice saying "We can always stuff your head under a cold water faucet in the men's room," in a none plussed tone. Enzo quickly apologizes saying, "Sorry, that was too much, I understand." The two continue discussig there relationship and find there way over to the bar.

• ^[26] Alice and Enzo make their way over to the bar where they run into a far to flirty bartender. After the bartender makes a pass and Alice and was a dickbag to Enzo, Mark's gets a drink in the face, right in front of his Mark's Priscus.^[27]

The Lily: An upscale bar/club where the movers and shakers go to wheel and deal, boast of success, seek audiences, or simply socialize.^[28]

Tonight, counting down New Years with a four club block party, the club is filling. Private rooms are being reserved and filling up quickly, many with older gentlemen and young women who came looking for stability and maturity.

Former Playmates make the rounds selling illegal cigars and vintage brandys for exorbitant prices. Then again, if you have to ask how much...

At The Lily

Ash and Nika

• ^[29]Ash and Nika Crassus begin there conversation with a the cheesist of lines from Ash. But at least the man admits it, "I'm going to say something real cheesy now, so I apologize in advance; come here much?" But thankfully Nika takes it well with a good laugh. The two continue there discussion, mostly consisting of a bunch of small talk until Nika dumbfounds Ash^[30], "I am not waiting for anyone. I don't have a date or a boyfriend or a husband. Hell, I haven't even had a good lay in about four months."

• The two continue there conversation and decide it may be a good idea to check out some of the other clubs. Nika puts out the idea of going to the Asylum, The, "There is a great comedy club around here that you should see and then there is the fetish club of course." Ash just shrugs and says, "At this moment, I'm up to try anything. You only live once, right?" So the two finish off there drinks and head to the Asylum

James and Cory

• ^[31]After James sits down with Cory Duncan, and Alison joins them, there is a slight miscommunication, with Cory Duncan saying, "This place is only a few blocks from the Tur. I didn't know it was claimed territory. We will be leaving now." James calms the situation and tells Cory Duncan that all is well, "I was just saying hi, that's all, and seeing how things were. That sounds fine to me, I doubt either of you are going to cause trouble tonight. Enjoy your evening, and give me a ring later if you decide to visit again?"

James, Alison and Jordan

• ^[32]After James' conversation with Cory Duncan he catches up with Alison. The group finds there way over and sits with Jorday Shepard, striking up a conversation with him. The group discusses there work, with Jordan describing himself as a "academic mercenary". Jordan also says he "buy and sell rare books and manuscripts. I also do some questioned documents work." Which attracts the attention of Obsidian^[33].

• The always polite Obsidian says, "I'm sorry to intrude, but I overheard you speaks of rare books. Have you found anything of interest lately?" Which then leads to a conversation about rare find books and documents, including books rthat are related to shape shifters and werewolf legends. Little do the Mage and the Kindred know they are surrounded by Werewolves.

Free drink, live music and an energized atmosphere, Reverence is the newest and hottest night spot in town! Opening New Year's Eve to join the Sacramento Block Party!

At Reverence

Terri and Rick

• The Love Bird/Squirrel arrive eager to check out the new club in town, which Terri is super excited about, "This place is awesome! Rick, we're gonna have so much fun!" Terri said to the Legate as they made there way into the club^[35].

• Terri and Rick Make their way up to a table where where Terri brings up that she has an idea about their relationship. "Hmm...and what ideas does the Twilight Page have running through her head?" Rick asks and Terri reveals, "I was thinking about swearing an oath to you; a Heart's Oath to be exact." Rick agree's to the idea saying, "I would love to."^[36]

Ishani and West

• Ishani Naetesh approachs West and says Hello. At first West feigns not remembering the near unforgettable Ishani. The two then reminisces on the Lash Fashion Show at the Asylum and that West had bought a dress for his girlfriend. Ishani remembers the event in her own way, saying, "I enjoyed the show but the clothing wasn't very much my style. Although, then again I didn't like Antoinette much either." West states that he and Ankh had been meaning to get back to the Asylum and Ishani gives him a VIP Pass^[37].

Erica and Derek

• Erica Starling arrives with Samantha Silversmith in tow. After Erica sends Sam to try to draw Seth Callaway's eye, she meets up with Derek Noble. The two chat for a bit and make a bet, with Derek making the pitch, "I offer you a wager, on the Wyrd. We both dance, together, and the better dancer wins. The loser owes the winner the equivalent of a medial endeavor for the remainder of the evening... nothing life-threatening, but something that may be quite demanding." So the two Lost make there way out to the dance floor and get to it, with Derek coming out on top, and takes Erica to the Asylum^[38]

Ishani and Asa

• After leaving the Asylum, Asa Clarke made his way to the Reverence to see how Ishani's pet project is turning out. As he arrives he is very impressed with the way the building looks, thinking to himself, She made her vision come true. When Asa makes his way up to Ishani's office the two kindred begin discussing Asa's meeting with Mateo Benavides and discuss posssibly enlisting the Shapeshifters in the attack on Horizon to rescue O-Yama^[39].
