To the Society of Sacramento:
There were few in attendance at the charity Midsummer Masquerade[1] ball. Some found out that the politicians were actually raising money for tax evasion. There were very few of us at this beautiful affair. There were a few who danced, there were several who mingled. Some were still upset over things in the past. Nonetheless, those who attended seemed to have an enjoyable time.
Recently at Court, there was a chance for those around the Domain to meet and catch up with others. It appears that there is a line at the Harpy’s door. An envoy from San Francisco entered court and was intecepted by Anton Flores. Other Court officials intervened and there will be more on this situation soon.
We are still continuing efforts to find Dirge. Countless members of the Domain have been searching for the Haunt. Hopefully this will conclude with out any, or many casualties.
Around Town
Miss Katrina Scherbotsky was asked to vacate Club Ember and the notice that her tenancy was revoked was delivered by Deputy Anton Flores[2]. Herald Villiers was called in regards to this, but did not have the answers that were sought. Perhaps Miss Scherbotsky should have asked the one who gave her these privileges. Yet instead, she chose to leave the domain.
Mr. Sidor Grigoriev was delivered a message by the Harpy that he was exiled to the barrens for a statement that did not settle well with the Prince. He took the news well. His temporary banishment will be lifted by the next Official Court, provided there is no cause to keep him there. Mr. Grigoriev informed Mr. Flores of this news and ask for permission to stay at the hotel in barrens pledging his service in return for this stay.
Mr. Hartman has awaked from his slumber, limbless and confused. Mr. Heinz and Herald Villiers have provided him with nutrients to begin his regeneration. Time is what is needed now.
Martha Villiers and Alice Brown paid an informal visit to the Ballo Della Notte Theatre and to Alder Judex Twist. It was a lovely conversation between the three women and Judex Twist told them some of the history of the city.
At the Sacramento Public Library, Martha Villiers met an English professor at the library. He invited her to join in a weekly discussion group. Jacqui Cotouri was also visiting the library and joined in the discussion with Martha and the professor. Jacqui and Martha spoke about gardening as well.
A new designer drug has hit the street called Red. It seems to have interesting effects on the users like seeing pretty colors and deadening pain receptors. Conner Greyson has head up this team as they seek to find who is behind the maddening drug.
Clan and Covenant Meetings
- The Gangrel had a short meeting held by the now former Priscus Katrina Scherbotsky. She informed the other two members of the clan, Bogdana Blazsanyik and Daniel Higgens, that they were not to share their Protean discipline with anyone. She also told them that their clan image was shot and they were viewed as the weakest in the domain. There may have been some jealousy with Miss Scherbotsky referencing the Mekhet as the go-to clan. Yet since Miss Scherbotsky has left the Domain, the clan once again remains without a Priscus.
- The July Carthian Movement meeting: Nothing was resolved or accomplished.
- The meeting of the Lancea Sanctum has begun and in process. Members at this meeting were Anton Flores, Sidor Grigoriev, Dillon Connery, Arthur Jones . Anton Flores appointed Sidor Grigoriev as the new Deacon of the Covenant. There was also a general reiteration of their purpose within the Domain, and proper introductions between all members.
- The meeting of the Succubi was held at a warehouse with a Luau themed party[3]. Members of the Clan who joined were Jonathan Mclean, Alice Brown, Lance Rayner, Cassandra Dawes, Yuki Saito and Priscus Twist. There was discussion then debate as the mention of appointing a clan Whip was brought forth. Several had thrown their hat, or two sense, into the ring with examples or statements to bare cause for such a position. At last Alice Brown was appointed as the Whip and the meeting concluded not long after.
