Your character has especially close ties to humanity’s collective unconscious. When your character sleeps, his dreams can gather any knowledge known to a living human and allow him to make use of it when they awake. This Merit allows your character to temporarily gain one Dot in any Ability Speciality or any Language that is known to at least one living mortal! So that's a lot of languages...at least 240 of them!

Knowledge of this Ability Speciality, or Language, persists until your character next sleeps and can be used just as any other Speciality or Language. If your character learns a Speciality (such as Heavy Weapons or Pilot, for example) where characters without the Speciality suffer special penalties when trying to perform certain actions, this Speciality acts as a normal Speciality and negates these penalties and also provides one additional dot for appropriate rolls.

Great! So...how's it done?

Well, having a dream to learn such a Speciality requires your character to make a Meditation roll (Composure + Wits) immediately before he/she goes to sleep.

To make use of this Merit, your character must also sleep for at least five hours to gain a Speciality, or Language.

Characters may not use this Merit more than once per day.
