History

Joined the site on December 10th, 2008, after leaving a play by post game called Mages of Baltimore, which also included Aeolus, Kai, Nightroad, sjones7060, and Soul. Shortly after porting over my Mage, West, I began playing Vampire: The Requiem and Changeling: The Lost for the first time. Since my previous RP experience was TT-ing with guys who spent more time drinking and cracking Monty Python jokes (myself included) than RP'ing, it was very cool to find a way to explore my imagination.

Around mid 2009, the site founder, Frost, decided to leave Twilight Valley and transferred the site to me. I've had stints Storytelling for Mage, Hunter/Mortal, and Vampire on the site.

Combat

The following are clarifications of Actions in Turn-based (combat) play:

• Any player character may call for Initiative, but it precludes any other action or speech.
• Drawing an object (cell phone, etc) takes an Instant Action just like drawing a weapon
• Speech should be limited to 1-3 words if done in conjunction with an Instant Action; if there is no Action, speech may be 1-7 words. Instant Actions which may require speech may take the full 1-7 words. Examples would be powers that involve communication, Merits such as Small Unit Tactics, etc.
