An expert at astral projection can meditate her way past the Astral Threshold without the need for a Demesne, Hallow or Mana. For each stage of Astral Space entered, however, the mystic’s player must roll an exceptional success. Reaching the Anima Mundi, therefore, would require three exceptional successes in the course of the extended Meditation roll.
