The dark streets and back alleys of the World of Darkness are home to brawlers who've never heard of a fair fight, never so much as stepped inside a YMCA, but despite this regrettable lack of formal training, may nevertheless lay you flat on the ground wishing you'd just handed over your wallet, or whatever it is that punk just kicked you in the nads for. This fighting style can be utilized in conjunction with brass knuckles or their nasty, spiked variant, dragon knuckles. This Fighting styles was contributed by Fractured to replace the Dirty Fighting Fighting Style from the Count Dracula PDF.

Dots purchased in this Merit allow access to special combat maneuvers. Each maneuver is a prerequisite for the next. So, your character can’t have Kick Inna Fork until she has Sucker Punch. The maneuvers and their effects are described below. All of the maneuvers are based on the Brawl Skill.

Contents

Sucker Punch (•)

The first thing every street brawler learns is how to get the drop on someone in a dark alley. The second is how to get the drop on someone who knows a punch is coming. The first dot of this FS allows a Brawler to add their dots in Brawl to their Initiative, but every round combat continues, this bonus decreases by one until extinguished. This bonus only applies to Hooligan maneuvers or a standard Brawl strike. Any other Fighting Style maneuver or Brawl grapple retroactively ends the bonus provided by Sucker Punch.

Kick Inna Fork (••)

A classic. This reliable method has been known to drop men ten stone heavier than oneself in a single, well-aimed blow to the family jewels. The user takes a -5 penalty to hit the groin. If their successes meet or exceed the victim’s Stamina, the victim is rendered Prone. Full damage is still dealt. This works on women as well as men- ask one who’s been kicked in the crotch, if you have any question

The ‘How’s Your Mother?’ (•••)

Hooligans who reach this level of street-fighting prowess learn to greet unsuspecting grapplers with a quick gut check with an elbow or knee. As long as the user has not yet acted this round, if the user is successfully grappled, he may abandon his action to reflexively make a Strength + Brawl attack at no penalty for the grappler’s Strength or Defense (Armor applies as normal).
