The mage can transfer Mana to other Awakened characters through physical contact, but only if that Mana comes from Pattern Scouring (see Mage: The Awakening, pp. 77–78), performed at the moment of transfer. Just as other forms of Pattern Scouring, this requires a full turn, during which the mage can do no more than move her Speed.
