It was July the 1st, of course the whole Domain had soon heard of this. An Execution at the Old Railway Yard in a preserved Mill Factory made to look like a courtyard. It is not often that we witness so many mixed feelings to such an extent, tension, happiness, festive dresses, black sorrowful clothes, excitement… fear.

The evening will have it all after Deputy Ricardo Rodriguez has welcomed all Kindred. The almost usual faux pas is soon there when Allison Black pays not enough respect to his Majesty and looks a bit too human for a vampire Official Court. And only moments after the Reeve tells Deputies Sidor Grigoriev and Dillon Connery that tonight is a night to be extra vigilant, the latest new arrival nearly bursts through the soon to be closed door. Yes, Abigail Pendleston knows how to make an entrance.

Yet nothing is as exciting as the execution itself. Some might be surprised that Heathcliff Staley would die by fire, and not at the hand of Archon Twist who did pour the right liquid over him. No, it is Prince Asa Clarke himself who condemns the former Bishop and Seneschal, Heathcliff Staley to Final Death by the fire from his silver zippo.

Around the Requiem

Like real gentlemen, Conner Greyson, Sidor Grigoriev and Neil Kingsley meet at a coffee shop. By the time Catherine Keyes arrived the conversation had become one on the human nature. Some other Kindred had a great time at Club Ember indulging in a less philosophical conversation. Deputies Rodriguez and Grigoriev were there, just as James Calloway, Allison Black and Chris Wooding who all talked about a tipping cultures among several topics. Now they are taking shots, to the Prince! You could wish you were there, just as the meeting at the gym is about to become very exciting. Martha Villiers gathered several Kindred who had a moment to be amazed by the many martial arts Dillon Connery familiarized himself with, then after an introduction round everyone could see the first lesson.

Among one of the Domain’s darkest corners exciting stories were exchanged between Josephine Powell, Deputy Tracy Burns and Deputy Sidor Grigoriev. Stories like an evening at the Alpha Phi will become a story to be told. Asa Clarke found himself surrounded by more than half dressed women, Bianca Sable, Allison Black, Alice Brown. In a pillow fight! James Calloway eagerly joined them with his most colorful underpants, while sadly, Catherine Keyes lost her interest and left.

Things are soon getting more confusing at the restaurant. After the explosion it seems as if no money is stolen from the safe, it does not really look like it that the so called assassins have tried to kill Tony Marroletti. What they did was stealing some letters and heirlooms, a parcel that Tony had sworn not to open, and a strongbox. The Kindred group consisting of Ricardo Rodriguez, Zachary Griffiths, Daniella Sage and Catherine Keyes are sure to help Tony to get it all back. The man may otherwise never be relieved from his oath.

Squatting in Camp Bow Wow

Reeve Conner Greyson has come to know that Madison Carothers is squatting in the Domain of Florin, now he has gathered Charles Black and Blake Reese. They went to a location at the Elk Grove called Camp Bow Wow. The Reeve used obfuscate to go unnoticed and enter the building while Mr. Reese and Mr. Black try to get information from the now named “Joe Average” who works at the camp. Conner Greyson sniffed around a bit, but soon hears the dogs barking at him. Except that the barking comes from Miss Carothers herself.

Chasing the Rowan Ring

After Mr. Archer and Mr. Drummond left him, Michael Redfill could not do anything else but to look for assistance first. A man called Ephrayim now has the Rowan Ring, mother and daughter Helen and Bo are still following him. At a night they should all meet, a man is to be made vampire, and they have to keep an eye on Dr Valdemar who is about to let the world know about the existence of Kindred. Momentarily regrouping in Seneschal Donovan's office, Dr. Redfill is now accompanied by three Daeva women named Allison Black, Velma and Bianca Sable.

Dark Deeds

During their short visit to Joel Baxter’s brother, Deputy Burns and Harpy Brown found out a few more things. They got a list of names of people that knew Joel Baxter, and the Harpy made an appointment with the woman who last saw Joel, however, we may wonder if that meeting will be necessary? Since more interesting things are happening at the Elk Grove. After discovering the false lead Chase Ankers and Neil Kingsley found out where most of the TVL vans are parked: Elk Grove. The four Kindred met there, and now Richard the Guard is entranced out of the way, the murderer’s van cannot be far.

Hotel Homicide

With more use of the spirit’s touch Max Heinz is able to find useful information. They probably have the right code to open the safe, although they of course need to be sure it is not a trap. One more touch, and the safe can make Mr. Heinz sure that LaFleur killed O’Conner before getting killed herself. Curious to what was so important that needed to be hidden, the Kindred continue their investigation. Heinz sees more, and Dr Powell, she finds the book called Grimm’s Fairy Tales. Handwritten. With several pages torn out of the center. That is rather strange, isn’t it.

Late Night Shopping

So Chris Wooding and James Calloway went downstairs where interesting things were shown to them. Mr. Wooding was happy to buy several items for him as Acolyte and the coterie mates together bought some books. What they could never expect though, is that several things in the shop are missing. A lot of plants and herbs, often with lethal effects, are missing. Who could want such a big amount of poisonous products? Mr. Wooding calls upon the powers of the Circle of the Crone to ask the Goddess for help. In a ritual the face of “the other salesman” Melvin appears. What? The day clerk seemed so disorganized, but could he know more? The two decide it is time for a visit.

Beside a very short talk about etiquette and the fact that this is a clan within an Invictus Domain, not much was said during the Nosferatu meeting.

Circle of the Crone Summer Solstice

Sacramento's four Acolytes gathered for the Summer Solstice. The rite of mourning, they could think of all those who died or went away, of all that was lost. After the offerings for the Goddess it was time for some political matters. Former Vala Chris Wooding discussed the position of Hierophant, and David Silver soon agreed he should be it. Silver is now the Iamedai of the Woven Circle. Dr. Robert Swift was there and the three welcomed James Calloway to the Circle.
