Dead Zone Merit

Many in the Guardians of the Veil keep track and use Dead Zones as safe-houses or places to meet other, potentially dangerous Magi or for specialized safe-houses. These places are simply where the Quiescence is stronger than normal.

The level of Dead Zone imposes a penalty to improvised casting within its radius. Further, if the spells are prepared, their Potency level must be higher than the dot-level of the Dead Zone, or be dropped.
