A meeting held by Sidor Grigoriev at the Ridge Motel at the end of May 2011 ^[1]

• Whip Sidor Grigoriev greets the arriving Nosferatu. Josephine Powell attempts to introduce herself to Brenn Lawrence, while Anasztaz begins the gentle verbal sparring with the Whip that he has been working on for several conversations. ^[2]

• The budding conversations are immediately interrupted by the arrival of Anton Flores. All seems well for a moment, but Sidor Grigoriev just barely notices that Anton's hands appear to be grasping a weapon, and it is targetted at him. Swiftly, the Nosferatu Whip strikes out with Theban Sorcery to protect himself, unleashing the Bird of Sin. Anton strikes out with his spear, but the Bird protects Sidor, and Anton begins to flee.^[3]

• As Anton Flores flees, Anasztaz and Brenn Lawrence give chase, but Josephine Powell leaps off the Ridge Motel's upper tier, landing ahead of the attacker. Unfortunately, Anton is faster- he impales Dr. Powell on the spear, and she collapses into torpor, ravaged by a terrible dream. She sees her homeless victims turn on her and autopsy her body. Anasztaz stops the chase to stay with her torpid body, while Brenn Lawrence continues in pursuit. She briefly grapples Anton, but he jams the haft of his spear into her throat and makes his escape. ^[4]

• Sidor Grigoriev, having planned this bait as a trap for Dirge if she remains within the Domain, adds up the circumstantial evidence to assess that it was likely the absentee Priscus - the very reason the Meeting is called. He telephones Anton Flores, who verifies that his whereabouts are currently observed by Conner Greyson. Sidor Grigoriev instructs the clan to move Josephine Powell's torpid body inside, before the kine see it.^[5]

• Anton Flores and Conner Greyson arrive. Anton demands answers from Sidor Grigoriev, who obliges him to soothe Anton's raging Beast. Anton Flores calls and requests the right to bring Josephine Powell from torpor from Asa Clarke, while Conner Greyson and the Nosferatu bring Josephine Powell's body into the Ridge Motel ^[6]

• Anton Flores demands blood for this slight against his clan, and is given the right of the bloodhunt against the attacker. Conner Greyson offers the assistance of the Mekhet, and Anton accepts. He instructs Sidor Grigoriev to go into the next room and give Conner Greyson the full details of the attack, while he revives Josephine Powell. ^[7]

• Conner Greyson interviews Sidor Grigoriev, who recounts the details of the attack as he recalls them. Conner uses Auspex on Sidor, and finds that he believes what he says. ^[8]

• Josephine Powell is understandably furious upon awakening, as she believes Anton Flores to be her attacker. She struggles as Anasztaz and Anton hold her down, trying to attack him. Anasztaz tries to soothe her doubts, and although Josephine relaxes somewhat, she remains angry and enraged in tone. Between them however, Anasztaz, Brenn Lawrence and Josephine Powell recount the tale of what occurred. They are supported by Sidor Grigoriev and Conner Greyson's affirmation that he speaks the truth. The decision to hunt Dirge is made. ^[9]

• Anton Flores declares himself the Priscus of the Nosferatu, allowing no vote. The Hunt for Dirge has begun. ^[10]
