The membership of the Consilium having doubled in recent month lead the third official meeting of the year to be rather more hectic. Before things even began in earnest the arrival of the new mage Asclepius lead to a quick acknowledgment conducted by Aurora Out on the porch of the Circle of Creation.[1] This was also the first meeting that Chambers took full notes in Supernal Script also making use of One Mind Two Thoughts to enable his attention to split without detriment between note taking and participation.

The tradition of food and drinks was observed by the growing numbers and quite the spread was laid on.

Once again the acknowledgment process needed some tweaks as Witch's return and acknowledgement had caused a stir with Winter and Aurora neither liking the rapid fire questionnaire style Corn had employed. [2] and this was a chance for any and all objections to be formally raised although reminders were given that it had been agreed the precise nature and how strictly the exemplar questions were used came down to the discretion of the mage performing the acknowledgement.

Skye Quickly took issue with first contact being permitted as it could allow mages to admit dangerous parties if they so wished without it being known to anyone else. Aurora Stamps down on Corn's idea to involve multiple people much as she had done three months prior. The conversation sliding neatly into point two. Councillors. Ending with Witch's clarification that Firs contact was only in place in the event that no relevant party in terms of path or order was present to handle the acknowledgement.

It became apparent that the best way to handle acknowledgement was by path representation with some provision in case a path dwindled to nothing. Salem raised the point most clearly asking what was stopping the appointments.[3] A big question. Leading Chambers to summarise the notes so far and keep things on track. So he could then bring up the appointment of councillors.

Thanks to Aurora Chambers had seen the a copy of the previous charter[4] despite it getting nullified at some point in the recent past.[5] and points to the methods for electing councillors with that as a starting point. Proposing that a path of three or more mages meets and settles the matter as they saw fit between them. Each path after all understanding its own ways and needs best. For paths with less then three an interim councillor could be chosen or appointed but once numbers rose an actual decision would need to made by the path. Which is met with universal agreement and all paths decide to meet to determine who will represent them.

Finally Chambers brings up that a lack of a charter leaves the Consilium venerable politically stating with the lack of the ladder he was willing to prepare for and take the Factotum exam to best arm himself with the knowledge to start writing a draft. Which was again agreed with the provision any who wished to could see and discuss the work in progress which was readily agreed.
