Rosie's Roses

Rosie's Roses is a small unassuming flower shop in one of the less busy streets of Sacramento. Wedged between two rather drab buildings it sticks out like a charming fleck of color: the window is decorated with four arrangements of flowers - an astute viewer could make out a losely seasonal theme in the colors and the decoration of the pieces, with the current season's piece being the most elaborate and prominent. Painted centrally in a blueberry colored, elegant font was the shop's name with its motto beneath and slightly to the right: "Heartfelt gifts that fit."

A old looking wooden sign above the door echoed the name. The blueberry found itself in the freshly painted door and windowframe, gently harmonizing with the hanging pot of green plants hanging next to the entrance.

Once inside the homely atmosphere quickly embraces any visitor: the walls to the left and right are filled with lose flowers sorted by color, and in the back there's a small counter where people ordered and paid their custom arrangement or could chose from one of the few premade gifts. In a more private corner are two soft chairs and a small table. They don't sell coffee or softdrinks there, but it provides the owner with a comfortable place to talk about the customer's visions and gives any visitor the possibility to sit down for a few minutes and leave the stressful day behind.

There is one door visible to everyone, leading to a small workspace/storage and an even smaller office meant for employees only. The prices are moderate, but every customer can expect and open ear, individual consultation and as many revisions until a satisfactory result is handed over.
