Ednas Boarding House

The history of Edna's Boarding House is one stained scarlet. Those familiar with local history will remember some of the details of the massacre that took place here a few years ago, when the owner, Edna Fritz, was found with twelve other bodies completely drained of their blood. In the gruesome aftermath of this horrible event, recent resident Betony Rue Jasons courageously took it upon herself to maintain the day-to-day operations of the boarding house, despite the fact that local authorities have never been able to solve the terrifying multiple homicide.

Unbeknownst to Sacramento's Finest, the mass murders were committed by the rogue Scarecrow Minister, Peter Milford and his Fetch (better known to members of the freehold as Skin'n'Bones and the Bogeyman), who were dealt with accordingly by the Tolltaker Knighthood. Ms. Jasons continued to run the Boarding House in honor of the deceased Mrs. Fritz, and has continued her tradition of hospitality by welcoming any members of the Lost community in need of food and shelter.

Spring in 2016, Betony Rue and her fellow Sovereigns took their leave from the Freehold, leaving control to those who remained, who then voted for their respective Sovereigns. Terri Nutkins' offer to run Edna's as its manager during Betony Rue's absence would be for naught. After three years Lady Salome came to call, the Truefriend's neglect of the Pledge Between them^[1] had sealed the former Dread Lady's fate. Terri Nutkins was now, and forever more a part of the Fleshmart's Proprietress corpse tree Hollow^[2].

Autumn 2016 Mhairi Ankaa was crowned Queen of Fear^[3] and took control of Edna's. First as it's manager, then with the Death of Fairweather, and the shifting of the center of Sacramento's Freehold she gathered the money needed to move Sacramento's Witch House to the Funderland Amusement Park. Marketing it as a Haunted House for children, and a series of horror themed Escape Rooms for teenagers and adults, though sometimes as a special event, Edna's doors are opened for a Murder Mystery dinner.

Long after the Park closes and each of the attractions are put to bed, the Lost of Sacramento know that ever, as it has always been they might find a bed within Edna's for as long as they need one.

May of 2018, Mhairi Ankaa left the Freehold of Sacramento, leaving the keys to Edna's in the trusted hands of Coco Tascioni, who turned them over to Ingrid when the Wasp took her leave as well.

Autumn's Hallow

• With the absence of Mhairi or any other Autumns with Hollow withered to nothing, reclaimed by the Thorns. Taking the Archives along with them.

Near Edna's new plot, is a maintenance shed, it's overgrown and looks uncared for. Inside is an equally unclean and uncared for interior. Though when you jingle the handle in a very specific way, the door opens not to the dingy shed, but to the Autumn Commons.

A small room, that really wasn't a room, but an enclosed clearing. Thick trees reaching higher then mortal thought, with nary a fresh leaf in sight. The barren branches reach their skeletal hands and nearly blot out the sun. Growing on one side of the clearing are a pair of branches, acting like arms and cradling tomes and scrolls, though only a few of them. Sadly all that remains on the Great Archive of Autumn.

Flitting around the edges are small sprights. Cackling among themselves, as they prank each other and watch, waiting with a manic glee for an intruder to appear so they could prank them!
