Varyx

Appearance

Varyx is beautiful. She's tall, leggy, blonde, and she has a killer pair of bedroom eyes. When doing business, she tends towards fashionable, classy clothing that's a touch risque; dresses with classic lines and hems that border on scandalous, or else tailored suits. Always with heels. Otherwise, she can usually be found wearing the sort of jeans one might pay several hundred dollars for, ripped artfully in all the right places.

History

Varyx was that poor kid in school who pretended like she was like the other kids, when she was clearly not. Her mother worked two, sometimes three jobs just to keep them afloat, and she was miserable for it. Varyx vowed that she'd never let society push her to the wayside like that, and that promise to herself has driven her ever since. The world isn't going to look out for her, and she knows it. So she looks out for herself.

When her mother died while Varyx was in university, she entered into the escort business, seeing it as easy money. And it was, until an unfortunate incident with a particularly demanding client sparked her Awakening. Once she Awakened and finished school, she maintained her presence in the escort industry, occasionally working herself but mostly operating as a madame.

She did quite well for herself, until the illegality of her work caught up with her. She and several of her girls were arrested, but it was nothing a generous bribe or spell couldn't fix. She chalked it up as a learning experience, but found the whole thing rather unpleasant and wished to avoid a repeat, which drove her to move to Sacramento to start again.
