Juno Mantiserra

Mien

He....is actually a she. Juno's appearance is a result of having spent her Durance as a member of a species that doesn't have recognizable sexual dimorphism (an Arcadian version of a Manticore). Looks like a guy, sounds like a guy, right? A true Manticore would know the difference -- she lacks the supernaturally beautiful voice and quill-firing ability of a male of the species.

Juno isn't a tall person, standing about 5'5 or so, with a wiry and very fit build. Her body is covered with a fine reddish brown fuzz that seems to enhance her tattoos' visibility instead of concealing them (it's a quirk of her Mien); her hair is kept just past collar length and is black in color. Its unruly appearance is a result of the fact that it is a mixture of human and fur-type hairs. She does have some facial hair as a trait of her Manticore 'heritage' (generally styled into a goatee). Her eyes are a very clear and intense shade of blue.

It would be very easy to mistake Juno for some manner of leonine Beast, with her body fuzz and lion-like tail; her feet have a longer, somewhat paw-like appearance that only adds to the confusion. However...make no mistake: Her affinity with Arcadia's Great Mythical Beasts and the influence of her Manticore-like Keeper is revealed in that her teeth look like they've been filed to sharp points and she has small quills on the tip of her tail which are concealed by the fur tuft.

Juno's Mantle reveals itself as a faint scent of fresh, just dampened from the first dew of the evening, plains grass.

Mask

Juno could, again, pass for a male (albeit an effeminate one) in her Mask. While the leonine features are not visible to the casual, mortal observer there is something that's a bit...off....as though whoever designed her couldn't quite make up their mind as to what gender to fully settle upon. Her hair is a mousey shade of brown and is kept relatively short and unruly as in her Mein. Juno's eyes are a very piercing shade of blue; that color remains consistent in either "form". When she speaks there is a soft thrum under her voice, as though a large cat had been granted speech.

Her usual mode of dress is pretty straight forward: she favors dark t-shirts with obscure band or skating logos on them (they allow her to show off her elaborate black and greyscale sleeve tats) and low waist cut jeans which allow for tail movement. Oddly enough, there is very little color in her choices of attire; with everything being in black or varying shades of grey.

Juno's personality is a bit....reserved, though she is considerably warmer towards those people whom she knows, and have taken the time to understand her.
