Tracker refers to the display portion a two-fold system for managing active, open Scenes and seeing how expenditures (Glamour, Mana, Vitae, Willpower) are made in Scenes. The other half of the system is Power Icons. Tracker is simply a BBCode with your character's name and venue:[trackermini="Vampire"]Twist[/trackermini]
The above was used to generate the output in the image. With the two variables venue and forum account name, the trackermini BBCODE lists all of the Scenes:
- Scenes in in-character public areas only (no OOC forums, Social Groups, or Comms)
- The dots/pips listed beside each Scene are a running total of Vitae (red) and Willpower (white) spent in each Scene. These are dependent upon the Power Icons being used.
Display
Tracker should be displayed in the final dot/pip/tab of the Minisheet. When a forum account is created, it's automatically populated with sample data (the same used here) which should be changed to reflect your specific character. It's very important that the name used matches the forum account name; otherwise, tracker won't work.
- If you use a Character Account to post, use that name.
- If you do not use a Character Account, use your main forum name -- copy and paste Tracker for each venue you have a character in.
Editing
In the main navigation bar, the USERNAME dropdown has a link to the page where tracker can be found. Alternately, a link is on every minisheet. If a member is not using character accounts and has multiple characters, simply copying and pasting the code will work (as in the picture to the right).
Usage of Power Icons and Tracker is how Scenes and Expenditures are tracked on Edge of Darkness, and mandatory.
