Swarm

Swarms are written up in multiple sources with some contradictions. Here is the unified ruleset that will be used on Edge of Darkness, which supersedes new or contradictory RAW.
Typical swarms are Radius 5 (equal to a Size 5 standard person). Swarms formed from larger or smaller bases (i.e. Gangrel, or spells) are equal to the base size they were created from.
Attacks/Effects
- 1 Bashing per Turn (base damage).
- If clothed (over 60% of body), this is reduced to 1 Bashing / 2 Turns.
- If *fully* armored (completely covered), Armor provides 1/2 it's rating.
- Halving the radius will condense the swarm; each halving increases the damage by 1.
- Targets suffer -2 to PER checks and Mental Skill checks from distraction.
Removal
- Targets may roll Dex+Survival with a Target of 5 successes to remove/avoid swarm.
- If the swarm re-engages (usually by supernal compelling), this must be repeated.
Destruction/Dispersal
Area of Effect attacks (example, torch):
- Each point of damage done halves the Size, rounding down. At Size 0, it is destroyed or dispersed.
- At Size 2 or less a Gangrel Swarm reverts to the vampire's base form.
Non Area attacks:
- Swarm is considered Armor 10
- All damage is Bashing
