Kailaria is a player on Edge of Darkness who got invited to join by User:Kelreth, a real-life friend, in late June, 2009. She then went on a two year hiatus to get her life into order, finally returning late 2014 in order to start creating a new character since she missed having a community of gamers she could talk to and play with that didn't require too much work like with a brand new game.

Kailaria is only really interested in Mage: the Awakening, since she generally doesn't like playing characters that have a strong background in evil-doing (like Vampire and Werewolf) or that are in an extremely dark and dire setting (like Hunter). Changeling: the Lost is an OK setting, but she only really has time for one character and she prefers Mage more.

Bio

Before playing pen-and-paper RPGs, Kailaria has always been a gamer and has aspired to program for game companies since 1997, however if that doesn't work out, she'll go independent if need be. She currently works for a relatively large company, programming new features into one of the company's products.

Kailaria has been playing pen-and-paper RPGs since 2004, but she didn't get introduced to any White Wolf systems until 2006 when she started with Exalted. However, most of the pen-and-paper RPGs she has been in have been run in such a fashion that usually revolved around combat. Starting off with Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 and other d20 systems certainly doesn't help to aid that trend.

Kailaria's first real foray into New World of Darkness was with Edge of Darkness. She has had some experience with play-by-post roleplaying before, and is fond of writing fictional works. However, after getting a low grade (to her, anyway) in a Creative Writing course in high school, she never got fully back into it until she joined Edge of Darkness.

• Sarah Winston, aka 'Xerxia', Fairest Dancer/Soldier of the Summer Court (One-way bus ticket; before Kailaria's hiatus, she was already struggling balancing work with gaming, especially here on Edge of Darkness. As such, Xerxia appeared to be extra flaky with her duties to the Summer Court, and her reputation had sunk irredeemably.)
