Morality is a measure of one's common decency, humanity, honesty and selflessness. Or it may be a measure of an individual's depravity, cruelty, selfishness and perfidy. It all kind of depends upon which end of the scale one finds one's self. In general terms, the higher a person's Morality, the better a person they are: they more likely to be kind, forgiving, tolerant, generous, loving and honest. The lower a person's Morality, the more likely they are to be deceitful, cruel, murderous, untrustworthy, hateful and selfish.
The scale of Morality runs from one (the most evil) to 10, (the most good). Most people hover around a seven on the scale: likely to tell a few self-serving lies now and then, not averse to stealing office supplies and generally looking out for number one, but not willing to cause significant harm to another person for their own gain. A made Mafia wiseguy might come in around a five or a four. A ten would represent a genuine saint.

- For Vampires, the trait is called Humanity.
- For Werewolves, the trait is called Harmony.
