Help:Quotes
From Edge of Darkness Wiki
This tutorial is just to call attention to some features on the Wiki that players may not be aware of or may be uncertain on how to go about using when setting up their character page(s).

Interactions
For a more in-depth look at how to use interactions, it is detailed in third post of the Vampire Status Thread. As of now the Interactions feature is available for both the Vampire and Mage Venues which allow you to see what others think of your character. This is now entered on you character's main page using EDIT.
Quotes
Quotes are a simple way for Players to record and view what other Characters are saying about their Toon in the Domain and Consilium Status threads. Status can be found within The Cacophony for Vampire and Herald's Whispers for Mage. If you have not yet participated in Status then make sure to anticipate the next one in your venue. These often occur immediately after Formal Consilium and Formal Court scenes.
Creating the Quotes Page
This is a relatively easy process. All character wiki pages have a Quotes link located next to your character's activity status [img2="right][/img2] Yours will initially be shown in red as the page has yet to be created. Select the link and the wiki will direct you to a form where you can create that page. This has been moved to the top left of the character page.
Easy Option
1. Clicking the red Quotes link will take you to a new page creation. 2. The page will automatically be loaded with the bare necessities as well as a sample quote. 3. Just go down to the bottom and hit SAVE PAGE. (Advanced editors can feel free to cut and paste and create their page). 4. Now hit EDIT. 5. The form will display a line for each quote with a space for the name and quote, and you can see the sample quote is there. 6. Edit the sample quote, then ADD ANOTHER, and so on, and so on. Character names should auto-complete to reduce errors. 7. Sorters on the far right will let you arrange the order of Quotes. 8. When you're done, just hit SAVE PAGE again.
Advanced Option
However, if you'd like a two column layout, use EDIT SOURCE:
{{Quotes Pages/Top}} {{col-begin|width=100%}} {{col-break|width=50%}} {{Quote By|[Status Contributor #1]|Blah blah blah.}} {{Quote By|[Status Contributor #2]|Blah blah blah.}} {{Quote By|[Status Contributor #3]|Blah blah blah.}} {{Quote By|[Status Contributor #4]|Blah blah blah.}} {{Quote By|[Status Contributor #5]|Blah blah blah.}} {{Quote By|[Status Contributor #6]|Blah blah blah.}} {{Quote By|[Status Contributor #7]|Blah blah blah.}} {{col-break|width=50%}} {{Quote By|[Status Contributor #8]|Blah blah blah.}} {{Quote By|[Status Contributor #9]|Blah blah blah.}} {{Quote By|[Status Contributor #10]|Blah blah blah.}} {{Quote By|[Status Contributor #11]|Blah blah blah.}} {{Quote By|[Status Contributor #12]|Blah blah blah.}} {{Quote By|[Status Contributor #13]|Blah blah blah.}} {{Quote By|[Status Contributor #14]|Blah blah blah.}} {{col-end}} {{Quotes Pages/Bottom}}
You are able to adjust how many Status Contributors will appear in each column to your liking depending on if you have too few or too many. You will have to manually add the names and Status commentary. Remove any unused Quote tags. Only include remarks made Publicly.
Once you've created your page you will be able to see the Interactions section displayed on the upper left next to your character's player name. Make sure to complete your Interactions section of your wiki page so other Players will be able to view what your characters think of them!
