History

Kevin is the second child, the eldest boy, out of a family of five. He grew up in a town, which is ironically enough, named Crescent City. Kevin's temper often got the better of him, causing him to get into fights with others. During his time in grade school, he seemed to be singled out of all of his peers as he never began ill whenever a sickness went around the class and getting lead astray during field trips. As such, Kevin began to look for other pursuits and as he had already sported an interest in fairy tales and having heard a few odd stories about the school, he would seek out what books he can find about myths and legends of other cultures, which would then lead him to research urban legends. Neither of his parents really cared about how Kevin spent his time as long as their son wasn't getting into verbal or physical fights.

Then came the time Kevin achieved getting his learners. It didn't take him long to find enjoyment in controlling something large and fast but by then, neither of his parents would allow him behind the wheel, rather dismayed by their son's stunts using said mode of transportation. When Kevin did get his license, his parents got him an slightly beat up car as a gift for getting it. Kevin loves to drive and often can't be bothered to care much with how the car runs, if it's got gas in its tank and non-flat tires, the car was fine in his books.

Upon graduating from High School and working for a bit, Kevin would leave his home town and head for San Diego to attend University. Everything seemed to be looking up for Kevin, he rarely saw his room-mate and he was finally connecting with his peers. At least, that's how things stood in September and midway in October. Before those nightmares began, before Kevin began to see things out of the corner of his eye. By the time holidays came in December, Kevin has been experiencing the strangest occurrences and the only thing that keep him from talking about them had to do with the fact that there had to have been others experiencing the same thing at least once in their lives. After all, Kevin reasons, people must have seen things like that or there wouldn't be so many occult books. They got through this, so will I.

Of course, Kevin was proven right, particularly upon meeting another werewolf the day after his wild night. The nineteen year old would join the pack, entitled Thieves Grid, that found him and after a few weeks, he would accept an invite to join the Iron Master tribe. During his time with this pack, Kevin would learn to better control himself by learning to mediate.

Kevin would put in a transfer to a university in Sacramento due to the Cahalith of the pack saying that he would 'prosper' there. While a little skeptical, Kevin felt he could use a change of scenery and company.

After a few months of being packless, Kevin is now part of the Sworn as he decided to join the pack along side another wolf named Maria, a Storm Lord Irraka.

Despite a long history in Sacramento, Kevin Swift breached the Oath of the Moon grievously. With nothing to say in his defense, he was exiled from the packlands, and bound never to return.

The Return

Then a Howl of Challenge reaches his ears and though he knows he shouldn't, Kevin heads to see what is the source of such a howl.

Kevin upon reaching Tur, he find the packs in disarray and 'gifts' from the Pure waiting to be opened. As they find departed members of the Moon Tribes within the boxes, a pair of Spirits attack them. Following the Spirit's defeat, he reaffirms his brotherhood with Jeremiah and Steel Gaze, rather disturbed to learn what has happened after his exile.

The remaining werewolves soon met a Owl Spirit who informs them of what the Pure is doing and tells them of a safe location where they can regroup. They leave the Tur and the bodies of dead pack members, fleeing to said location. They rest and heal while members of the group head to check out a Locus in possession of an Azlu.

As those traveling along side of him, they come across a member of the Sky Court and after a brief encounter, they hurry on their way to the Locus. They find webs all around the area but are quickly put to the flame.

As they hold up at the new Tur, they plan ways to reclaim their city and put things to right.

In time, his pack undergoes a change, Jeremiah leaves not long after they have a new wolf to look after, Jess which sees the pack gain a new name, Sky Wardens and a Totem in Prideful Harrier. Steel Gaze steps up to take leadership of the pack and Jess as a Chorus member.

For months, the two packs maintain keep their new Tur secure. Things changed when a vassal of Prideful Harrier sends the pack north-east. They encounter the Granite Watchtower pack comes charging into Tur, three members get dropped off while three members drive away. Not long afterwards, new wolves arrive and discussions abound concerning a cell phone that can lead them to the Pure's Grandfather. The latest member of the Sky Wardens has misgivings of the plan and end the end, flees into the Shadow with Steel Gaze following after to reason with the now Deed given Sniveling Fox.

The discussion sees all but two of the remaining Uratha heading out to engage Grandfather in hopes of cutting off the snake's head, leaving Kevin and another to guard the Tur. Not long after the leaving of the attacking Uratha, a pair of Pure attack, forcing the two to defend themselves. Alicia manages to kill the pair while Kevin had been trying to use a Talen to force them into Hishu.

With the fight over and the pair in need of healing, the Owl Spirit that directed them to the Loci shows up and requests that they vacate its Loci. Numbering two and bother rather injured, Kevin grabs his duffel bag before crossing into the Shadow to find Tony waiting along with a injured Steel Gaze plus a useless Sniveling Fox. Explaining that they were evicted, they follow Tony to a Loci he knew of.

After a time, Tony howls a summons for all Forsaken to the Dog Park and many wolves answer the call. News is exchanged and tempers flare up. Throughout this, Steel Gaze is withdrawn and as the Uratha form packs, the Iron Master Rahu quietly leaves without a single word to long time pack-mate and friend, Kevin. With the departure of Steel Gaze to parts unknown, Kevin finds himself without a pack yet with connection to a Spirit that can serve as a Totem for another pack, he decides to aid in the rescue of another Uratha's family from the Pure.

And so Kevin joins the Heart of Granite along with Jack Harper. So, he leads the three to Prideful-Harrier and Alison takes the mantle of Alpha with each offering blood to Prideful-Harrier to seal the bond.

Sadly, it wasn't to last as something called Alison away and those that remain try to work out how to proceed from there.

During an investigation, Johan and himself locate a Locus along with a mystery concerning pills that seem possess Spirits within. The humans flee, leaving Johan and himself to figure out what to make of the episode.

Both Johan and Kevin would join those who volunteered to rescue the family from Pure. The party succeed in keeping the Pure from blooding their jaws with the blood of the mother and the daughter. The house is on fire and they must escort the pair out of the house.

Slowly but surely, things unraveled for him, Jack Harper seemingly vanishing which seemed to be reason for Prideful-Harrier to find a new pack. Lastly, Johan seems to fade from view, leaving Kevin alone once more, or is he?

With the reappearance of Jeremiah, his old pack member and Alpha, maybe he's not as alone as he thought he was. Only time will tell.
