Biography

Donnie lived a charmed life. After a successful collegiate football career at USC, the fullback was drafted in the 3rd round by the Raiders. At the end of a strong rookie season, Tug’s soul Awakened to the Primal Wilds while covering a kickoff. He saw two tribes fighting each other for a crown, which he took from the opposing chief…and returned for a touchdown. Then the medics took him off the field, because he didn’t look like he knew where he was.

An Adamantine Arrow recruiter witnessed these events and put Donnie in touch with the right people. The right people, in this case, turned out to be a soldier recently returned from Iraq- Donnie’s brother, Tom, the Obrimos Arrow known as Falx. They trained together and for a time things were good.

Then they moved to Sacramento.

They pair barely survived the assault on the soldier-zombies of Granite Park, but Falx was lost shortly thereafter conducing solo reconnaissance on a Banisher-held Sanctum, the Kruegan’s. The Banishers cut off Tom’s tattoo and mailed it to the Circle of Creation for the Arrows to find. A team consisting of Animus, Ankh, Ash, Henry Pym, Teegan, and Tug raided Kruegan’s via the Shadow. Falx was already dead, unfortunately, and the Banishers escaped. Tug found his brother’s ghost, bound to his dog tags in the Banisher’s torture chamber. He also struck a deal with the offspring of a powerful pain spirit the group had had to barter with to gain entry to Kruegan’s, and that malicious ball of ephemeral dough is now known affectionately as Biscuit, and serves as Tug’s familiar. Tug later accepted an offer to join the Neidan cabal as well as the position of Sentinel for the Consilium.

Tug’s desire to revenge his brother’s death his so strong it has transformed his soul into one of the Oathbound. While the loss has taken a strong toll on Donnie’s innocent, joyful nature, his locker-room sense of humour, borderline narcissim, and indiscreet flirting has thankfully been unaffected. He often wears athletic clothing, rock band tee shirts, or garish suits for formal occasions. He spends his downtime keeping himself in shape, training, drinking beer and watching TV with his brother’s ghost, usually sports or Animal Planet.
