A meeting of the Domain's Elders called by Prince Shadow, in which she abdicated and called upon the city to acclaim a new Prince^[1].

Summary

• Prince Shadow gives a brief explination of her history, and announces that she is stepping down as Prince of the Domain.^[2]

"They have helped me quite a bit, but not enough to be a Prince of any domain I am afraid. So, I am stepping down as your Prince. I do not feel I am strong enough to hold this position." - Shadow

• Erika Brady nominates Priscus Asa Clarke for the position of Prince of the Domain of Sacramento^[3]

"In light of this, however, we now have a choice to make. It is with the greatest regard to Harpy Rahyna, that I consider she has always been the best at her position, and thus I must endorse the Priscus Asa as a candidate for Prince. He has served for many years, as I understand it, and has served well. He is the best for the position and power that this title will give him, and with that, he has my vote." - Erika Brady

• Elle Moiraine Seconds the nomination for Asa Clarke^[4]
• Ishani Naetesh nominates Rahyna for Prince.^[5]

"I nominate Rahyna." She says, stepping forward. "I think she has done just as much for the city as Asa has. I also think she has the time and patience for it." - Ishani Naetesh

• Lioni Dupree votes for Asa Clarke
• Dr. Asaan votes for Rahyna
• Asa Clarke accepts the honor of Prince and shares information about himself with those present.^[6]

"If those assembled here find me worthy, I will answer the city's call again, and be honored to accept the title of Prince." - Asa Clarke

• Shadow speaks highly of the new Prince and asks him what his plans are for the domain.^[7]

"What I am interested in is what you plan to do now. What do you feel this city needs and are you prepared to do what it takes to provide the leadership and compassion that is required to hold this title? That is what I am interested in." - Shadow

• Asa Clarke gives a overview on how he plans to lead the domain in the future. ^[8]

"A firm hand, tempered by compassion, I wholeheartedly endorse. A directorship, rather than a dictatorship." - Asa Clarke

• Dr. Asaan thinks that the Prince should be Unaligned^[9]

"Many covenants have requirements that they must be put first, and if I am wrong in this, then I apologize, but perhaps someone should be given power that does not have one to consider." - Dr. Asaan

• Shadow is not pleased with Dr. Asaan's idea.

"So, you would have us make the same mistake twice then? No, I don't think so. This is about looking past the covenant to your city and your subjects." She looks at Rahyna and Asa. "If either one of you cannot do that, then step out of the running now." - Shadow

• Asa Clarke responds

"My choice of Covenant has never influenced my decisions as a Deputy," Asa replied, "nor will it influence my decisions as Prince." - Asa Clarke

• Rahyna responds

This city is need of a prince who rules with an open ear and but still has the sense to curl the fist around those that would harm the city I feel that I would be able to do this if deemed worthy by those present in this room." - Rahyna

• Sabina places a vote for Rahyna to take the position of prince.^[10] The vote comes down to Veritas.

"I would like to support Harpy Rahyna for ascension to the throne." - Sabina

• Veritas breaks the tie by placing her vote with Asa Clarke^[11]

"I think I'll be needin' to go wi' Asa this once." - Veritas

• Asa Clarke asks Rahyna to host the next court in order to make the announcement to the domain.^[12]

"Harpy, would you be so kind as to host the Court? I think many of us here would appreciate the chance to see the Museum again, and your last party was cut short." - Asa Clarke

"Yes I would be happy to host a court for you are there any special preparations would you like made for this court and when would you like it to be held Prince Clarke?" - Rahyna

"Thank you, and as soon as convenient, and nothing special needs to be done," - Asa Clarke
