A Meeting of Clan Mekhet. The meeting was held on 19 April 2012[1]
- While Priscus Conner Greyson was waiting at the head of a table in the conference room, Catherine Keyes is the first to arrive. With an Invictus Priscus, Miss Keyes suspects a test of etiquette and puts much thought in her decision to sit at a particular chair. As expected, everyone follows suit.
- "Forgive my ignorance, but I am not completely versed in this piece of etiquette. Would I be correct in assuming this seat to be an appropriate choice?" -Catherine Keyes[2]
- Surprising for some, Thomas O'Connor had apparently returned to the Domain and arrived at the meeting. But before the meeting could begin, Bobby Lime showed up as a new arrival in the Domain. And David Silver, he arrived after the meeting had officially commenced.
- After introductions are made Priscus Greyson reminds everyone what the Clan has accomplished. He then asks what goals the newer faces have.
- "For those of you that are new to the domain I ask you to look at those who are not; among us we have two Regents, a former Seneschal, two former Harpies, three former deputies, a Bailiff, a retired Reeve and the current Reeve. Not to mention respected members of each of the covenants." - Conner Greyson[3]
- Erika Brady, Regent of Citrus Heights, reminds all Shadows that their family is always allowed to hunt in her Domain, as long as she remains Regent therein. [4]
- Others present also offer their aid. Au Pair Daniella Sage offers to help anyone with matters of etiquette, Hierophant David Silver kindly invites everyone to the Circle of the Crone's Holy nights, and Chris Wooding presents himself as available to give new arrivals a tour through the City. Max Heinz shares a good idea, some advise for Lady Au Pair Sage. [5]
- "I would like to speak to you about that at some point in the future; Au Pair Sage. And I would wager a good number of the recently arrived Kindred as well, regardless of Clan. Perhaps you should think about offering a formal Class for everyone at one of the Elysiums?" - Max Heinz
- So plans are made for the future, Erika Brady and Neil Kingsley even continue in a private conversation[6], and thus the meeting of Clan Mekhet comes to an end.
