Story holds that this ritual has been around for nearly 1,000 years, first born of the Toltec Forsaken who walked the temples of central Mexico. This ritual, utilizing music and dance, grants the practitioner access to a trade of power with what is believed to be some other werewolf performing the same ritual elsewhere (though some suggest the power comes from spirits, not other Uratha).

Performing the Rite

With this ritual, the Forsaken dances about in a circle, playing some kind of wind instrument (potentially a many chambered traditional tlapitzalli flute). She must do this for a number of hours equal to 10 minus her Harmony score. Once complete, she suffers a sudden wave of hallucinations similar to those that might be gained from the consumption of a psychotropic herb. The hallucinations — which can be both enlivening and enervating, disturbing and enlightening — last for one hour.
