Myrah Wells

Life and the Embrace

Myrah in her mortal life was a nurse serving in the British army during World War one. Most of the time she was in field hospitals scattered across Europe assisting medical staff in surgery or caring for wounded soldiers during various stages of the war. Unfortunately, one of these soldiers were under the watch of a mekhet, who he considered a close friend even in undeath. When he died, the vampire went into Frenzy and managed to kill a portion of the medical teams, along with some of the nursing staff. When he snapped out of it, Myrah was on the verge of death due to sever bashing. Whether out of guilt or for some help covering up what had happened, she really couldn't say but from that day on, she was embraced and brought into the world of the dammed.

Undeath and The Bloodline

The next few decades, Myrah stayed with her sire. Not out of love or anything but simply because she felt she wasn't very self reliant and feared that she would make a mistake and meet Final Death. She was inducted into the invictus along with During this time, she noticed that her sire had some...Peculiar feeding habits. Most of his Kine victims were suffering some form of poisoning and was usually asked to help dispose of the bodies or supply medical assistance if they were still alive. This was concerning her as some people would notice this and approached him on the subject several times. He never gave her a straight answer until 1966 when her bloodline activated and was told everything about what he was and what she had become. He quickly abandoned Myrah afterwards in America, saying that Two Trenchers in the same place almost always sucked up all the "Good stuff". She never saw him since.

Coping with the change

The next few years were difficult for Myrah. She was forced into kidnapping the homeless and keeping them locked up while feeding them food mixed with rat poison to keep herself from falling into torpor (think Stephen Kings Misery and you have some idea of the steps she took to keep them captive). She also resorted to infecting animals as well during trips to keep going. Along the way, she was able to expand her knowledge of poisons and Toxicology in order to find and perhaps create something that would leave little or no trace. While she had some success, most of the necessary chemicals were well beyond her reach financially at the time. One good thing that did come out of her research, she was recognised in the Invictus as a Meister of Science and Medicine due to her extensive knowledge attained over the years. With some help, she was able to gain a form of "employment" in various medical (And some cases mental) institutions around the world. Myrah spent most of that time either posing as a nurse, doctor or anything in the medical field. It helped her greatly, especially with the coma patients and crazed individuals hanging around that no one will miss.
