History
Embrace
One night in Ireland, during a trip of her own, she snuck out to a story-teller’s bonfire. It was one she had gone to with her father in the year prior and she was hoping to be able to tell her own. When her turn came she spoke a tale, one she had heard told once that she had twisted and edited. She sang it into the fire, letting the shine of the the orange flame give her words their emphasis.
When her tale was finished there was silence and she was approached by a tall gentleman and was offered the chance to tell her stories to the world and to learn many new ones. She graciously accepted after three days of debating. Two months later she took her last look at the sun.
Post-Embrace
Catherine wasn’t truly prepared for the pulse of hunger that came with the exchange of blood, no matter how much her Sire had explained to her. But when he released her to find her own way she took up traveling again, eventually it was that wandering that had her moving back to her home country and state.

Alexander
Alexander found and met Catherine at the Bardic circle in one of the hills of Ireland. It was an almost rash decision on his part to offer tutelage to her, but he saw the potential in her words and actions. She was rough at the time but she could be molded. He managed the final song of her mortal mind: A Memory of Light.
She became his Childe out of his own urging, but her choice, it was years before he was able to present her to Aifa, his sire.
Aifa
Dancer in Darkness
Aifa, is Catherine's Grandsire, she has had some hand in her training as a formal Bard. Though she is rarely seen, She has been known by the song her Childe wrote. This song enhanced her beauty, and was one of the few pieces that interested her in her requiem. It is thought that Alexander wrote the song with only truth, but it obviously a piece that was written before his embrace, although by now details are changed, it was meant to be played on a Harp -- Aifa's favourite instrument.
