Eternal court was an idea established by West and Fractured that there would be an ongoing Sticky Thread where newcomers could go to be acknowledged and Kindred Business could be conducted.[1]

  • The idea is based on the thread not being a singular event, but a compression of the comings and goings of Kindred within Elysium throughout the nights. As such, EC is also never truly empty; where it be the 'faceless massess' of Kindred beneath notice, ghouls, or even officials in their offices.
  • Entering EC is tacit acknowledgement that all weapons have been surrendered unless the character is allowed to carry one. Attempts to bypass the surrender of weapons will require actual in-character roleplay.

Court

The Court is established in the downstairs of Nox that was renovated into a private area of the club. Certain rules of Elysia have been modified in the Eternal Court. Such As, Ghouls and Herds are allowed in the Court in certain designated areas. There are also Offices established for the Prince, The Seneschal, the Harpy and the Keeper of the Elysium.

There are also Meeting rooms that the Clan Prisci may reserve, otherwise they can be general purpose party rooms or if someone becomes influential enough (like a Primogen) they may get a room assigned to them.

Description

As Kindred arrive at Nox, they are discreetly met and led to the back of the club; some may recognize the area leading to rear stairs upward. New construction is apparent, as there are now stairs leading downward. The space downstairs is new, and decorated in dark, rich velvets and brocade remaining from the gothic theme. There's a coat room that will also hold one's 'unmentionables'; namely, weapons, at the foot of the stairs. There are also private areas, dark, and furnished with soft couches, as well as meeting rooms with conference tables and chairs, and an area with several televisions.

The common area circles the Court proper, and it becomes apparent that this is not decorated for a single evening. Small symbols note areas for Kindred only that branch off of the Commons, which will be necessary once those Kine privileged enough to see behind the Masquerade filter in: ghouls, herd members, or even devotees.
