Freddrick

Background

Although his last name was either never known or simply never used, Freddrick was still a formidable Nosferatu. He entered the city approximately thirty years ago and decided the state of the territory needed to be united. When Freddrick came to Sacramento the former Prince Tobias Straiphen was still in power. With the small group of kindred he brought with him, he formulated a plan to remove the tyrant Prince, but the citizens of the city acted first and managed to remove Tobias.

After the fighting was done, however the Carthian Movement, Ordo Dracul, and Lancea Sanctum began to fight amongst themselves. Soon Sacramento was split into three different territories, each covenant claiming their own Prince to rule the city. Freddrick was less then pleased about this turn of events and decided to resolve the problem.

Prince of Sacramento

He enlisted the help of Ishani Naetesh, Brandon Davis, Karsh, Icarus, and a few other kindred and charged them with the task of digging through the backgrounds of each covenant head and finding as much dirt as they possibly could. They needed something that could bring about the end of these important kindred's existence in order to work with the plan he had in mind.

While the research was being done, Freddrick went around the city ingratiating himself to the other kindred in the hope of winning them over. Once the information was found, Freddrick called a meeting in a neutral location beseeching the other covenant heads assistance. Of course, the powerful kindred came with the assumption a final ruler would be named. This is exactly what Freddrick had in mind, but it would not be to the others liking.

Each covenant head had quite a few skeletons in their closet. Meredin Vash, head of the Ordo Dracul had a lover who was also a member of the Belial's Brood. Gabriel Marcus, head of the Carthian Movement, was really an Invictus spy reporting to his good buddy Kisten Maze. The Bishop of the Sanctified (whose name I currently cannot remember) was found to be a diablerist. All three kindred were informed of their indiscretions and given a choice. They could name Freddrick Prince of Sacramento and keep their secrets locked away in that room, or they could refuse and have their secrets announced and be given to their respective covenants for punishment. The group deliberated for three nights before the decision to name Freddrick Prince was announced.

During the long meeting allies of the covenent heads attempted to break into the building and kill Freddrick themselves. Ishani, Davis, and Karsh as well as a number of other kindred loyal to Freddrick held the aggressors at bay. Approximately seventy kindred in total were killed over the course of those three nights.

When the meeting was over, Freddrick emerged the new and only Prince of Sacramento.
