Mirage

Mirage is a fiery lawyer and business woman that barely reaches 5'1 with her heels on. She has perfectly straight, shoulder length, black hair through which tiny reflective circles can be seen delicately hanging from her ears. When out of the courtroom she shows off her striking beauty in a tight white dress decorated with tiny, delicately patterned, clear sequins that sparkle slightly in light. She accompanies her dress with classy, silvery pumps and conservative courtroom appropriate makeup. In front of the stands she wears a simple black blazer jacket and skirt with white blouse and black heels. Women that have worked with her often gossip about her impulsive attitude and her low cut tops and skirts but she enjoys the competitive attention.

Background

Mirage was born in San Diego to an average American family. A house, just big enough for her and her brother and their middle class sedan that got them to school and brought the groceries home. They were standard, boring, citizens. She couldn't stand it, living in all the mediocrity and she hated her parents for it as though it was their fault. Their fault they couldn't be rich and send her to the best schools, but that didn't matter. She'd do it with out her bumbling parents or her sorry excuse for a brother. She made A's in every class she ever took, she passed every test she could throw at her. She got the right scholarships and loans and went to the best college she could afford. She joined an exclusive sorority based on the merit of her grades, and after graduation was able to use that to get a job at a powerful law firm. Mirage was a fiery lawyer who often made decisions based on impulse. The lead lawyer in her firm told her that she should go back to school for business law where her aggressive tactics would be better utilized. The night before her graduation ceremony she dreamed of a beautiful place where power pulsed in the veins of the earth, she signed her name on stone and Awoke a mage. She was visited at work by a strange man who explained her Awakening and revealed that a group called the Silver Ladder had ties to their law firm. He told her to go to an interview with a man named Eclipse, a powerful man that was seeking a young determined assistant.
