Any Mage can take an Apprentice, or Apprentice to another Mage. If it becomes publicly known, there will be a blending of social fortunes.
The Master will make available to the Apprentice all Rotes, Arcana (for Inferior purposes), Occult Skill, and Template Merits. This does not mean they give them to them, it means if the Apprentice's player spends the XP, they have a readily available teacher.
- The Apprentice will give the Master 1 out of every 7 XP, if the Master so desires, for the duration of the Apprenticeship.
- An Apprenticeship cannot be for a term of less than three months -- real time, not game time.
Note: Other Skills, or Merits can be bargained into the agreement, and the XP amount adjusted -- but all changes to this 'standard' contract must be approved by the Mage ST.
