About October
Not much is known about Octobers past. The Acanthus keeps that information to herself, only telling things that are important and nothing more.
But what is known? She was born and raised in Boston Massachusetts and only recently arrived in Sacramento. While in Boston, she attended Harvard University, graduating summa cum laude with her medical degree. She went on to learn emergency medical care then specialized as a trauma surgeon. Which is where she thrives. But it came with a price, and the amount of Death she sees, had her pick up the Death Arcana instead of Life. Death became part of the job and something she learned to accept early on.
Despite how serious her job is, October actually has a sense of humor, dry at times, and enjoys going out and letting her hair down.
She works at UC Davis Medical Center, one of the top level 1 trauma medical centers. Which has her on call almost all the time and she carries two pagers on her.
If asked about her Awakening, she won’t talk about it, preferring to keep it personal and to herself.
