Consilium Obrimos Free Council
Presence Manic
Former Member of Temoins du Sud

They were young and they were Angry.

Four school friends who channeled their rage into their music and their skate boards. They swore a pact to "Rock on, forever!" and practiced real hard. They grew from angry kids into young adults who channeled their aggression and stuck it to the world. When they weren't playing they were walking the dark side as petty thieves and crooks - sticking it to the Man! When they first discovered the occult their course was set as one of the next generation of heavy / black metal.

They were the Four Horsemen.

They were great. They were awesome. They were terrifying. The flew like Icarus and burned like an exploding star. Last anyone heard of the band, they were experimenting with drugs and summoning manuals as old as the hills. Obviously, something went down and scarred them all forever. John found religion; Austin suffered a mental collapse; Iain went mainstream; Saul Springfield shuffled into the world of fringe religions in search of understanding. He was still a Rebel and didn't fit well with cults. He travelled, burning up most of his wealth in an effort to see more, do more. He investigated the mystical fringe of the more established religions, finding solace in meditation (and in boxing).

He found the Mysterium first. Or maybe, they found him. At first he was overjoyed at having found a real Ancient Order / Secret Society. Unfortunately, he found them to be too hidebound by tradition. Atlantis was one possibility in many, and Saul (now Crowley) wasn't too convinced about the dogma. He also felt a little constrained, almost as if the Order were keeping him on tap for something...

He rebelled. The Free Council appeared in his life and he jumped in head first. They stuck it to the Man! They were a collective - almost anarchic in outlook (the mob he first contacted) and they were responsible and democratic. What was there NOT to like?

He was a founding member of the Temoins du Sud and a held the position of Herald while the Consilium was reorganised into the River City Consilium. An outspoken member of the Consilium, Crowley has been adrift since his cabal-mate and fellow Free Councillor Einstein left the area.

Crowley was slain while investigating a spider-spirit cult.

RUMOURS
