This story revolves around the discovery of a drug with an apparent supernal component. It followed the abduction of the Acanthus Miach by Banishers, who drugged him unvoluntarily.
Motivations
Trying to fight his addiction and get even with his enemies, Miach has a personal stake in uncovering the plot behind the drug.
Worried for her friend Miach, the Thyrsus Kiko followed him into the investigation, trying to help and protect those she holds dear.
Keeping tabs on possible supernal threats, the Moros Bishop was informed of the drug by his contacts within the police force and decided to investigate.
The Obrimos Faith stumbled on the investigation when she tried to help a young woman, that was under the influence of the drug and as a result was capable of rudimentary supernal experiences.
The Moroi Aurum and Geist joined the trail of the drug by meeting at a party with suppliers. The former was investigating it as a potential threat, the latter out of mere curiosity.
Synopsis and Scenes
Miach, Kiko and Bishop entered a night club, filled mostly with students and fraternity affiliates, trying to get their hands on some of the substance in question. They located a dealer and were able to procure some of the drug GLO.
Spreading it evenly between themselves, they then go their separate ways, each one analyzing the drug with the supernal and mundane means available to them.
Miach and Faith encounter a young woman in front of the night club. The woman is terrified, stating that demons are real and she can see them because of some substance she consumed. While the two proceed to help her, Kiko and Bishop are taking steps to analyze the drug with supernal means. While Bishop was unable to trace anything, Kiko discovered a demonic touch to the substance.
What was planned as a step to link up and share findings so far, led to confrontation between Faith and Bishop about the proper course of action with the drug. While Bishop, true to the ideal of the Guardians, demanded that any and all quantities be handed over to him for destruction, Faith outright refused, because their investigation and analysis was not completed. It was agreed upon to meet at a later time after some research was done.
Deviating from the original plan, Faith called in Miach and Bishop on a potential lead for a drug den. Further investigation became a lesson in improvisational undercover work, which allowed Faith to get on the inside of the drug den and face to face with two dealers. Miach used the distraction to his advantage and moved through the location, procuring another stash of the drug as well as a phone number. Bishop, being forced to work a little behind the scenes, used his contacts to create an exit strategy for Faith by calling in the police. He sweetened the deal by creating a newspaper article, favoring the polices good work.
Currently in progress: Aurum commence her own hunt for the drug.
