Outside, at the Bar
It is revealing and what is revealed, is frightening. Maybe it was because Miach was so intimate with the stuff, or perhaps, it was just his mastery over truly seeing the world; but it was so easy to see it on the strawberry-blonde. The young woman was a sleeper, that much was apparent by how banal her resonance was; untouched by the golden strands of the Awakened.
However, there was an active working of magic on her.
The Quality of it, was false.
At first blush, it only seemed like someone has thrust Prime's unveiling practices upon her pattern. It didn't take a Factotum to know that, that, was a violation of wisdom in and of itself. But, as Miach scrutinizes the spell upon her, it revealed itself like a lingering, hateful serpent.
Black.
A coppery tang at the back of his throat.
A vague scent of sulfur.
It was wrong and a complete inversion of the beauty Miach knows of Prime's Unveiling practices. Miach sees it for what it truly is.
Nearby, Faith's magic sings to the highest of heavens. The world responds and the drunken idiots of the bar try and tumble themselves back inside; unwilling to be caught by the police and have to be questioned. It seems none of them want to be involved.
The Strawberry-Blonde is hysterical. NO! The young woman screams, mascara running down her face and her eyes wild with abject terror. As she looks at Faith, the young woman tries to escape, Get Away! It's real! It's all real! Oh God! It sounded like a terrible realization. The truth of her predicament was lost against sobs and hoarse screams. The woman whispered, Demons are real.
Miach please roll [Resolve + Composure] to not feel sick at the resonance of the active spell on the young girl.
The Circle of Creation: Guardians
It was a long-ritual and one that not a lot gets done. There wasn't enough of the stuff to really discern much of anything out of it. Let alone anything of particular note within the powdered depths. It would take someone looking for something specific, as well more of it, to find whatever it was Bishop was looking for.
Frustration ruled even as the water ran over the Guardian's face.
Detect Substance: Requires someone looking for something specific, gold fillings in a wire for instance. Even so, with the amount Bishop has, he has a -3 penalty which is not enough to get any amount of information.
