Appearance

Shrike is a tall women, standing 5'9 without heels she casts an imposing figure. Her general demeanor us composed...or at least disciplined. Looking at her you can tell she's....not quite all there.

History

Shrike was born to a Proximus family, taught to desire Awakening above all else. With the threat of reproductive slavery on the line. A sleeping soul has no value, save for bringing about the next generation.

Shrike and her sibling were put into separate but equally taxing disciples to focus their minds and bodies. Shrike was chosen for ballet, put into classes when she could barely walk. The Talon continues the conditioning and training to this day.

The events surrounding Shrike's Awakening are often whispered about, but even that us discouraged.

Shrike's sibling Awakenings. A joyous occasion turns to ash as the yet Awakened Shrike believes her sibling stole her Awakening from her. Without warning or thought Shrike attacks! Intent on stealing her Awakening back.

It didn't work, and over the next while Shrike's sibling flaunts their magic in front of their Unawakened sister. Eventually a Paradox is caused, and not contaied. The Abyss answers! ...and something slithers out....and into Shrike's mind.

The body succumbs, the mind shatters, but the soul says no.

Shrike Awakens!

But not before this Entity wore her body like a meat suit, cause chaos and distraction....and attracting the Guardians.

Present Day

Shrike's history isn't talked about, not unless you want to attract the Eyes of the Dragon.

But rumors will out and in nearly every circle Shrike is known to be dangerously unstable.
