(Under Control) I Spy

[West]

"All right," Zilker sighs. He runs a hand through his close-cropped hair and looks in the direction Ariadne's attacker fled in.

"Stay here and watch the bench. See if there's another drop-off, and find out what it is."

He sits on the bench and replaces the box.

"Don't call or talk to anyone. Right now, they've got your phone, so that's a connection. Reaching out to anyone is going to let them springboard off of you. I'll go see about getting your phone back. We need to figure out somewhere neutral to meet later. How's Nox sound, nine-ish?"

[Ariadne]

Ariadne nods and takes a look around for somewhere to watch the bench from. Preferably somewhere she can sit.

"Sounds good." After a moment she nods. "Alright, though there aren't many of us left in town at the moment anyway."

"I'll be at Nox at 9."

[West]

"See you there."

Zilker begins walking, then turns and gives Ariadne an encouraging smile.

"Everything's going to be fine. Remember who and what you are."

With that, he heads off.
