After all, Sir Baldwin might have had a knife or something. Penelope Rebane would never have known. Did not knowing make him more horrifying, more repulsive?

Big thumbs up for this. Lotta people assume the Curse is just a single line item that can be concealed or mitigated -- way to work it in!
