This spell can only be used on Mental traits.

• Social traits are raised through the Spirit Arcana, and will use a duplicate version of this spell.
• Physical traits are raised through the Life Arcana, and will use a duplicate version of this spell. The Life variant would be Vulgar, following the Augment vs. Honing precedents. This is superceded by the current global Spell Aspect system.

Note: This spell must first reduce the Untrained Penalty to zero before adding 'dots'. If you want to boost a Mental Skill which you have no Skill in, it will require four successes (-3 penalty) to gain a single 'dot'.
