Not The One That's So Absurd...

This was certainly a different twist to the evening. Most guys would have gone and made a bold move, but not Konrad, he was different it seemed. And that intrigued her.

Her eyes flutter briefly at the touch, as her smile softens, eventually turning into a frown at the mention of it getting late. The gentle touch, and the mention of the time made her realize the night was not going to end as she had planned. He def was different, could he be a gentleman? She hadn’t come across one of those in a while. “It is late isn’t it?” she asks with a sigh, eyes looking down briefly. “But you have my number, can I expect a call?” she asked playfully, her free hand resting on his forearm.

"You bet," he responds with certainty, indulging in her visage a moment longer. "Need me to call you a cab or maybe I aught to walk you home..?" He can feel the urge of temptation guiding his words, probing for options and opportunities, not willing to give up completely on the hunt. There's something in his voice like reluctance, or maybe he's just nervous. But there is no hurry. They would see each other soon at the concert. They would have a good time, and maybe a better time after. He just had to make sure he was gorged on Blood beforehand.

Think with their sexual organs, yes. He's quite smitten with this one. Were she given to foolishness, she'd be a better fool than he. But the air would be no less affected for her than him. And she is not what he is. Idiocy and antics are a perfect cover for action for a Mage; so many wise men and prophets have known so. But for her . . . drawing attention wouldn't work. People wouldn't dismiss her like they could him. She's a well-kept secret, a store of knowledge and perspective best left to quiet darkness, lest it vanish in the garish light of day.

Falstaff orders a second sex on the beach; one can't have sex on the beach alone. He raises his glass, lets it linger while it waits for hers. "She walks in beauty, like the night," he toasts, this time actually quoting Byron.

'Yes, I heard some of it. Not much though. Horrible news.' It's only because of her personal interest in fires. If only she had known...

Lucy didn't mean to make Terri sad or anything, so she should probably try to change the subject again. 'Sacramento definitely likes its parties. I'll be needing more dresses!' She adds a friendly wink to that. How convenient that she needs clothes now.

Then she looks at the L'aire, as she notices that the dancer has also been shooting a few glances in their direction. While chuckling again, she says: 'Because if we want to be able to keep up with her, I feel like I need to do better.'

Smirking, “Glad to hear.” She replies knowingly. “I don’t live within walking distance, so calling me a cab would be great.” She says with a grin, not sure if he was trying to recover from not making a move or not. With obvious reluctance, she slowly removes her hand from his arm. “But hey, we got an awesome concert to look forward to!” she exclaimed, clearly looking forward to it.

[Josephine Sterling]

"And all that's best of dark, not light, meets in her aspect, and her eyes," Josephine replied, mirth twisting the corners of her mouth. She raised her glass, clinked it with his, and then set her lips to the drink. She was ever so glad that he was imbibing, too. That way she would actually be able to taste the drink he'd offered her. And him? Well, he would have the chance to taste something far more sweet, and far more deadly.

She drank the drink, and then placed her hand upon his. "Escort me somewhere appropriately dark and quiet, would you?"

Spends another Vitae to drink dat drink, so later she can drink dat other drink.

Konrad smiles and digs around his bunny suit for his phone to call a cab service that is in the area as he's been known to do on occasion when his Ghoul wasn't available to pick him up, and he was off route of a bus stop.

He places a call for a cab to come to the Nox for Madison.

After it arrives for her he gives her a friendly hug as fuzzy pink bunnies are known to do, though with the lingering scent of cigarette smoke. "I'll call you soon. Have a safe night. Happy Halloween," he says as he sees her off. Konrad plans to walk back to his Haven, or at least as far as the bus route, though it may have already stopped running for the evening.

A straight shooter, this one. Falstaff sucks down his drink, rubs the citrus from his lips, and then thinks perhaps he should have left it there, as they tingle with possibility.

He takes her hand in his and and leads her, weaving through the crowd of costumed dancers. He spares a glance back. "Dark? If you prefer. Quiet? Let's hope not." He winks, before turning back, stepping through the door into the night. He's all but skipping and clapping his heels together. He thanks Fate. He thanks Time. He thanks Stan Lee. He's never going to wash this costume again.

Terri chuckled, finishing her drink and placing the glass down delicately.

"I really think she could pull off anything," Terri commented. "I mean, the designs I could create with her as my model would be mind-blowing."
