The Claire is alive with activity. Outside, several lines of cars are met by valet attendants, and doormen in tuxedos usher guests inside. The lobby is filled with costumed guests, and large wall maps provide directions to the various ballrooms which have been converted for the event.
The main ballroom, the Imperial, is a two story affair. The top half is done in soft white diaphanous curtains and drapes; white roses in vases and runners over the railings. Below, crimson walls are splashed with red curtains, and waves of dry ice fog billow out onto the floor. Where above there are roses, below there are small braziers with decorative fire and flames. The theme is clear: above, heaven; below, hell. It's also quite clear from the music and crowded dance floor which guests favor.
The Green Ballroom takes it's cue from it's name. Light blue swaths of cloth are hung from the chandeliers to the walls, creating a 'sky', and brown and green curtains line the walls. Plants and trees are placed here and there to create a forest or jungle effect, and several seem artfully arranged into private copses.
The third is the Oak Ballroom, done in sedate grey wall drapes and large wrought iron chandeliers. Huge, rough beams of wood criss-cross the ceiling, giving the room the feel of a castle common room or dining room.
Have fun, please enter the appropriate ballroom, feel free to move between ballrooms, I just wanted to give different settings/backdrops
