Jessica nods in agreement. It was good to do something after what felt as a failure at the University. She's really going for another tactic this time. With a happy voice she says: 'Good brain- and searchwork guys!' And she looks to Vince expectantly, hoping for a positive call.

"He isn't anserwing. Let's stop by and see what's up at least. That alright?" Vince tries the line again, but with similar results. maybe the guy was out of the house? maybe he was sleeping? Maybe he had fallen into anot dimesion through a electrified corn flake?
They would know soon enough.

"Fine with me," Frank grumbles, hitting the gas. On the way over, he tries to think of what he knows about the neighborhood where the boat captain lives, but the caffeine is runnin' a little low just at present. He considered what they knew of this Johnson, he spends a lot of time out at sea, gets in a little trouble outside of it, but not much...probably a stand-up guy. But if he had taken a bribe to allow some weirdo to spray some kinda freak juice all over this boat, then taken kids out on it...
Focus on the facts. That black stuff, that impossible decay stuff, those are facts. Just not ones Frank can wrap his head around yet. "Hey, why don't ya check your googles for weird science stuff like this, Patolli? Super-rapid decay. Extra-dimensional portals. I dunno. Maybe you'll find somethin' useful."

The address leads to a trailer park.
Don't judge.
It's clean and neat, a small community of retirees, those with little material needs, or travelers. Golf carts zip around, and hear and there a ping pong table or motorcycle break up the monotony of beige boxes and silver cans.
Cut to Cap'n Johnson, asleep in a lawn chair next to an empty can of beer, snoring.

Vince hangs back, Agent Boobs and Agent KWTFHID could lead this one. Vince tries to observe Frank, to learn from the old man who had done this since before Vince was born.

Jessica gets out of the car and walks to Johnson's lawn. She stands next to the chair and knocks hard on the trailer hoping to wake him up 'Sir? Hello?'
If he doesn't wake up she'll shake his shoulder softly. 'Ben Johnson? Is everything alright with you?' she asks concerned. If the man is completely wasted, she's afraid he won't be very useful.

Frank knows out here in California, probably a quarter of these trailer park folks are travellers, or hippies, half were upright folks, and what's left were generally criminals. He kept his eyes out for signs of drug-growing and manufacture, and gives the exterior of Johnson's trailer a good look-over while the man is napping, or would have, if Warren wasn't trying to cop-block him. He rolls his eyes at her. "If he says 'no,' are ya gonna hug him?" he mutters as he walks up to join her. "Sir? We need to ask you a few questions."

Before the man might react Jessica snapped to Frank in an annoyed but soft voice. 'I've learned my lesson OK. You could start talking to him, but if he's asleep, it won't have much effect don't you think?' She sighs deep and adds: 'I'm not going to fuck every random outcast in town just to speak with him.'
Jeesh, did grandpa had such a low view on her? This was a complete turnover for her mood. Jessica turns her face back to Ben, waiting for a reaction.
