This one is actually for a single Scene, and two characters...
This one goes out to Arnoud & Twist in A trip to the theater (attn: Arnoud).
Think of it as a duet, as their conversation progresses, and the 'wise man in the graveyard' as Arnoud's Sire.
I have always been an avid believer in expression through music. I've also learned that one can tell a lot about a person by the kind of music they listen to, or the kind of music they feel represents them the best.
We've chosen songs to represent other people's characters and to show what we think of when we read about and interact with those characters. What I would like to do is get some insight into what you think of your character. Are they really a hopless romantic in the guise of a quiet fighter type? Are they really incredibly insecure even though they come across to everyone else as over-confident and arrogant?
I think that it would help other people to better understand your characters by viewing them through your eyes. So, I'd like to know what theme songs people would choose for their own characters.
West the Mage's is New Order's "Temptation", which I think really captures his past betrayal by Fate & his current struggles to find his own (new) destiny.
Heaven, a gateway, a hope
Just like a feeling I need, it's no joke
And though it hurts me to see you this way
Betrayed by words, I'd never heard, too hard to say
Up, down, turn around
Please don't let me hit the ground
Tonight I think I'll walk alone
I'll find my soul as I go home
Each way I turn, I know I'll always try
To break this circle that's been placed around me
From time to time, I find I've lost some need
That was urgent to myself, I do believe
Oh, you've got green eyes
Oh, you've got blue eyes
Oh, you've got grey eyes
And I've never seen anyone quite like you before
No, I've never met anyone quite like you before
Bolts from above hurt the people down below
People in this world, we have no place to go
Oh, it's the last time
Oh, I've never met anyone quite like you before
Oh no, I've never met anyone quite like you before

It is Chopin's Minute Waltz. It is supposedly a work he composed when watching his friend's small dog run about in circles. It is light and fun, fast paced and carefree. Al-Adin to a tee.
I don't know if this would be a theme song for Joshua, but maybe an incidental track on his soundtrack. I only heard it for the first time a few days ago (I never saw the movie it came from) and it struck me as something that he would like and relate to.
"The Little Things," by Danny Elfman, from the Wanted soundtrack.

Room 21- Hinder
"Room 21"
She said nice to meet you
But she didn't tell me her name
With red lipstick and pale pink boots
This bitch just blew me away
Cocktails later
She said to me
Don't be late
And heres my key
Wanna know what happened next
Take a wild guess
I stumbled up the stairs
To room 21
I walked in and saw her on the bed
There was nothing to be said
When we were done
She said she loved the taste of my oh oh oh
When I came to the next morning
There were cigarettes put out on the floor
Her panties hanging from the doorknob
She left me craving more
I swear to God you'd feel the same
If you got used by what's her name
Wanna know what happened next
Well take a wild guess
I stumbled out the door
Of room 21
I walked out with her in my head
Cant remember a damn thing she said
Except when we were done
She said she loved the taste of my oh oh
She said nice to meet you
I never forget a face
Here we go again
I cant wait
I'm gonna get used by whats her fucking name
Wanna know what happened next
Well take a guess
I stumbled out of the door
Of room 21
I walked out with her in my head
Cant remember a damn thing she said
Stumbling out the door
Of room 21
(Here we go again)
Room 21
(Here we go again)
Room 21
(Here we go again)
Room 21
(Here we go again)
