"Don't you own a van?" Tuesday asks, wondering if he brought the pad from the theater or from somewhere else in the Circle. If it's the Circle. Multiple trips dude.
A head tilts when the shirt comes off. "....This just yaoi fan service?" is the first thing in her brain and out of her mouth. "Because honestly. I need to know who order this up." 'and stab them. With my fists. Encased in my brass knuckles of awesomeness.'
The Star speaks. Because of course he does. Her first instinct is to say 'no bet', she'd bet on the wily dude with the beard too. But he wants to make a bet with her. So of course she chirps, "Deal!" Before drawing on Acadia.
There was nothing in that verbal contract about no magical cheating. And screw the hidden stuff, everyone knew she was going to do it, so why hide it?
Lightly singing and humming ethereal words, Tuesday wove the spell into Wayland's pattern. She grinned as a scattering of stain-glass butterflies surrounded her for a moment. She kept grinning, as she flashed Wayland a thumbs up.

There was a lot that Avis had wanted to say. Ironically, a lot of it wasn't that different from what Wayland had said. The difference was in the attitude, and the fact that he was hijacking her goddamn training sessions.
A more enlightened person would have been able to accept that without feeling the need to punish, but sadly, Avis wasn't as enlightened as she'd like to be.
Besides, pain and conflict were the best teachers. Maybe this time, actually getting boiling soup to the face would teach him something.
"Free for all!" Avis yelled, scrambling towards the bag that held her bow and arrows.

Fisher rolled her eyes as suddenly everything burst into action. The build up, the arguing, the irritation all melted away and she had to act. She had to be quick or she would become a victim of her order head. Fisher did not want to be on the receiving end of those arrows. The mustelid, with her weapons already in hand, prepared to shoot toward Avis and target her bow string if she drew the wepon. Given the rest of her opponents had to draw their weapons, she felt confident in her choice...unless Star pulled something...Star-like.

Tuesday had to wonder if this was always the plan, or had the unicorn given the scary lady diving for her bag...ideas.
A lip pulls out as Tuesday gives a comical pout, did this void her bet with Star? Reaching into her tote, to pull out her brass knuckles of awesomeness, she hoped not, because if she just Lucked up a dude she's going to have to punch in the face, she Will. Not. Be. Pleased.
Kicking the tote away after her she slips on her weapon of bludgeoning choice, hazel eyes scan the impromptu battle royale.
Tuesday equips her brass knuckles, and Wayland 's up!

What the fuck?! His horror at the realisation his spells are being systematically unravelled is soon replaced by anger. Someone was trying to derail his challenge with Brother Rat, but it went deeper than that, it smelled of an attempt to not just see him fail, but a more insidious attempt to see him injured.
Taking quick stock of the people in attendance, he knew who was the likely culprit. The knowledge required for someone to mismantle his spells without his senses feeling the telltale ripple of magic required meant one of two possibilities, an Apprentice of Prime with basic knowledge in Matter, or an Adept of Prime. Or someone very powerful in Death, but that seems unlikely yo.
Considering the common factor of knowledge in Prime, there wasn't anyone here who he knew that fit the bill. The most likely was Star though, which meant he was sporting skills that weren't common knowledge. Fuck, so this was the blow back from his lack of respect. Petty like a twelve year old. How to prove it though....
Time to correct it was lost though, as the Talon called for all out combat. He was committed to Brother Rat now, but he'd never felt so naked before than he did right now. Time to check the new Thrysus' grappling skills.
