Daniel actually chuckles at the introductions. What the hell is this, a bad spy movie?
"And I'm D. Sorry we didn't bring the rest of the alphabet", - while it's true that names hold power, withholding them is normally more dangerous. Better to come up with fake ones than attract attention. Still, if everyone is doing this, might as well ride with the current.

Chris simply smiles to D, he's not sure why Velma wants to use just letters - but changing that would be a bad plan, so he just goes with it. While keeping a straight face, of course.
Since Chantey had mentioned the 'security matter', the Mekhet nods. There's no reason to wait. They can come to business right away.
'So yes, we're in quite a curious situation here. Especially since we already expected... two associates.' He looks to the guys accompanying Chantey, in a sort of ominous way, probably. They were in the text.
'V here managed to take a look at a phone / camera of one of the "strange" people. We don't know who or what they are, or why they're interested. But they got a text from a mysterious third party, telling them that you are their new priority.' Chantey, that is. It is a statement as well as a question, maybe Chantey or her friends know more?
Then he also looks at Velma, wondering if she wants to share how she's involved.

Eyes float over each of the present as they present themselves. Letters, it was fine by her, they were in the Asylum here everyone shed their day to day daily life skin, dark private desires are brought back to life but when they lights go out they still need to dress the day to day skin again. Aliases in a place like this are common.
The Succubus offer’s each one a mysterious smile, Chantay, the gorgeous woman, F, whose presence filled the room more than her own, he was definitely someone she would keep an eye for when she felt the need to embrace, and finally D, hardened and confident, someone who seemed to enjoy keeping things off his chest…
Eventually Chris, W, went on explaining the situation. The Ravager just smiled and looked to the assembled group to notice their reactions, they had called the meeting and were handling them the first cards it was time to receive something in return and maybe then throw something more.

Got a look at their phone. If it was a strange group and the phone contained sensitive information she had to suspect that theyweren't just letting people look at it...which meant she'd probably want to be careful with hers, just in case. And she found herself wondering again, whether it was Eric's party or the other. That her name, specifically, had came up made her wonder if it might have been Eric himself that sent the text. As far as she knew no one else from either group knew her name...but there was a lot she didn't know.
Thankfully, she had a chance to get answers here.
"Well that does sound...ominous." There's a brief pause after the sentence as she looks between the two of them, not quite certain which one to address her question to. "What was strange about these people?"

For now, Daniel waits. He isn't quite sure what his job is here except looking like muscle and making sure there is no funny business so the time is well-spent by alternating between keeping an eye on the room and trying to pry his eyes off V.
Damn, she's hot. Too bad she's probably dangerous as hell and a dominatrix to boot.
Or perhaps she is just a misunderstood woman managing the club. Yeah, right. Like anyone with more boring tastes would pick such a job.
Sadly, coming into this place as a client is out of the question: the sound of a Ban being broken would reach L.A.

Velma was attentive to the explanation, she noticed the other three kine to be attentive to, a good sign.
The Succubus decided to reveal more, if they were to get their cooperation and information maybe it would help if they had the entire picture as well. Naïve? Perhaps! But they were kine…
”Well, they had my picture in their cellphone as well. One I don’t recall being taken…” The Ravager seemed to be trying to recall all the details.
”The picture was rather odd to, as if it was computerized, I don’t know the correct term…” Rendered.
”And they were also involved in a fight in Club Ember and bought their way out with diamonds… It was a fight between them and another man who asked them about a camera… I accepted their overly generous gift because I would prefer to keep this quiet and not to raise any suspicions. We have a reputation to maintain, I trust you understand what I mean.” The Succubus reclined in her chair and adjusted. It was the hard true facts of life... but suffice to say that someone who buys someone else's silence with diamonds must have a lot to hide and the means to do it!
”Which brings us to this point. Because we found out you were also on their list… do you know anything about these strange people and what their goals might be?”

Alarmed eyes shoot toward Chantay ( Lesingnon ). If they are being watched by the same people... He then looks at V a W, wondering if any of them is capable of summoning lightsabers in the air. Just a stray thought.

Chris wasn't sure how much Velma wanted to talk about herself and all the details, but he's glad when she finally does. He wasn't there when most of it happened.
He doesn't have much to add, before Chantey replies. Hopefully with more knowledge of the situation. If not, she might become bait.

"Of course I understand." That this group apparently carried significant wealth in portable and difficult to track form. That they were perfectly willing to use said wealth to pay people off...and that they'd already done so with V once before. Which meant they'd have to be exceedingly careful if it ever came to working alongside her or her security expert against this group.
A computerized picture, some sort of imaging software perhaps? Though why they'd want to bother with such a thing she had no idea. Weren't there all sorts of pinhole cameras and the like?
Fingertips drum lightly on the armrest of her chair as she pondered the question directed towards her. "We might, it's hard to be certain." Then her hand dips into her purse, withdrawing her own phone from it. Firebringer and Daniel can see her sifting through her own list of contacts, until she pulls up the entry for one Eric Vanders. "Unless...do you know what number the text was sent from?"
