Leo feels more of the tainted Mana flow into him, replacing what he'd spent. The cold knife of loss and white fire of rage seep through him in a circle that fed on itself.
But there was something else.
The strap holding his arm loosened as he siphoned away it's very existence, and a firm tug snapped it loose and freed his arm.
The Scene began with 5L, healed 4L, adding 3rB will convert his health track to:

A sigh of relief issued forth as the Obrimos felt his hand free. He immediately reached to free his other hand, trying his best not to dwell on the bloody stump that crossed his field of vision. Thankfully Leo had always been good with his hands, a fact that was likely balanced by having slippery bloody stumps in place of thumbs. Still, he was able to free himself eventually, and the first thing he did was check his pockets. He doubted his phone was still on his person after what Ariadne had said, but he was more worried about his wallet. Y'know, the thing that had his ID with the street address for the Circle of Creation where he lived, the banner of the Archangels, and the key card to get inside the Circle. Oddly the second was the first to reach Leo's mind.
Once he was done he looked around his surroundings, specifically towards where the psycho had gone.

Leo's pockets are predictably, empty. Details slowly filter in.
To each side of the chair, outside of his previous field of view, are two cameras -- aimed at him. Nice, expensive cameras with large lenses and fat cables running back into the concrete walls.
The same concrete walls are smooth. Their surfaces are unbroken by mortar or seams, and suggest that they are part of something larger than this bare room. To his right, is break in the wall that looks like a hall.
That burger smells delicious.
His thumb stubs are gone.
But most immediately?
Leo Lockheart, First Talon of Adamantine Arrow, and Councilor of the Consilium of Sacramento, needs to piss. Badly.

While Leo didn't have much time to take in his surroundings, he wondered which building's foundation was carved out for this little interrogation room. The veil breach and film of his thumbs being removed was for another day. Right now it was escape time.
The First Talon wiped off his forehead and face where he was bleeding and stuffed his hands into the pocket of his hoodie. Sure he was mostly healed, but dried blood tended to turn heads and Leo had no idea what he was heading into.
The sleeves of his hoodie were turned and pulled into the pocket to obscure the blood he had just wiped off before heading out into the hallway.

The hall is short -- about five feet -- and dead ends into what could only be called a Very Serious Door.
A Very Serious Closed Door.
Spartan buttons and an intercom adorn the wall. The shiny black orb of a camera stares balefully at Leo.

A door, Leo struggled with a single restraint and now there was a door in the way.
'Fuck you universe.'
Leo pulled on the lever on the door, just on the off chance this was the point where he got lucky and shit wasn't totally fucked. Just to be sure he even tried lifting it up and pushing it down just to make sure it wasn't like some of the crappy walk in freezers.

The door handle does nothing.

Yep, that was hoping too much.
A glance to the right of the door revealed several buttons, so the First Talon moved to the side and pressed the top of the three buttons. Here's hoping that's not the lock button.

A soft static bark pops from the grille.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Leo glares at the grille. That sound didn't sound like Ari to the rescue. And why is it always Ariadne to the rescue? Are their really only two competent awakened in the city?
With a deep breathe Leo pushes the top button and awaits the sleepers of mage death to come to his side.
