A gig in Avalon

Friday night at Avalon.

It is something wonderful for him to be back on stage, even though his old band mates had called off, unfortunately. But their replacement is not to be despised.
With these guys he has played before and they have improved.
Somehow it is sad that Lucas and his friends could not see each other again, but it was basically predictable. One became a father again, one was ill and the last wasn't even in the country.
He grabs the guitar and the microphone then he gives the others the signal to start.

Good roll

During his first song, he takes still the time to look at the audience. Slightly more elevated than he expected. The main thing is they were music lovers.

For his next piece, he gives everything.
How much he has missed it. Basically, he was never keen on the money. He just wanted that his music to be heard.

second song

Cold sweat runs down his neck. A feeling, which he has only rarely. Perhaps this will indeed change with time. Now he is back to a "band" to a family.

His third song is a remembrance of his former band colleague Carlos, who was shot down some years ago.

When the song is over, he wipes away a tear. He breathes deep.
Just two more songs.
The fourth song is a purely instrumental piece that his band always used as introduction.

And now something for a real fan.
The previous songs were all found on his CD, but this one is complete new.
Let's see how the audience likes the song.

After the last song is over, Lucas bows and thanks both the audience and his band.

After he has made just fresh, is taking a drink and listen to the other bands playing today, too.

He stands a little on edge to look down on both the stage and the audience.
"Perhaps there is even a little fun for tonight" he thinks with a smile.

Emma activated the blush before she left for the evening.

Emma came into Avalon just in time to hear Nothing Else Matters. She loved the song. Before she had the opportunity to take in the ambiance she leaned on a wall to enjoy the music. Emma was wearing thigh high black leather boots, a black leather skirt and a light brown scoop neck shirt.

When the song was done Emma headed to the bar on the left, ordered a Vampire Kiss Martini. Slipping a twenty out of her lacy bra she paid for her drink, tipped the bartender, and found a seat somewhere near the stage to enjoy the music from. Emma causually did a visual surveillance of the area. She had studied blue prints of the building and had been here once before. Still, she was a bit concerned about the size of the building, coming here alone, and not keeping her back to the wall. However, she needed to relax, escape the formalities of the vampire world, and really wanted to enjoy some music. Reminding herself to breath, blink, and do normal humanesk things was her new goal tonight. Maybe she would even dance. Emma stirred her martini and smiled at the drinks name.

Toby had heard people talk of Avalon, and decided to take a night off and check it out. She walks in wearing a simple little black dress, her hair was loosely pinned up, and she wore a simple pair of black stilettos. Pausing at the door, she takes in the atmosphere as she glances around, leaving her coat at the door, she confidently makes her way into the club.

She takes a glance at the stage before making her way over to the bar, where she orders a top shelf dirty martini. As she pays with her credit card and accepts her drink, she sips it as she turns to face crowd, looking for an interesting face, or familiar one.

Strangely enough, Miach had been here for months already, and he never had the opportunity to enter Avalon. He had heard of it, of course, but had always been at other places. This time was different though. He had had a nice diner with Esmeralda, a wonderfully cute Mexican girl for whom he had >dressed up<, and she nearly dragged him into Avalon. He knew all the codes for such places, of course, and fit right in effortlessly.

He smiled at the bouncer, left him a twenty, and did the very same at the dresser. They then sat at a very comfy cushion, and he ordered a bottle of red Monte Xanic, a curious mexican red wine he had enjoyed once. He relished the prospect of dancing with her, and sipped casually at the wine while entertaining her with fun anecdotes about his job. It was just a warm-up.

Tracy had decided to stop at the Avalon for some fun that night. It had been a few months since her arrival to Sacramento since she had last been to the place. After the bomb threat fiasco, she had avoided it like the plague. However, she doubted that anything of the sort would be happening that evening. After all, the situation had been dealt with as far as she is aware.

The petite redhead walks into the club without much trouble, giving a little wink to the bouncer on her way in~~, skipping the line outside~~. She left the leather jacket and combat boots at home this time around, replacing them with a cute black skirt, a black blouse and a pair of heels that make her look slightly taller than usual.

She takes in the crowd as she makes her way towards the bar, offering smiles to those who turn to look at her as she walks past them. Finally, Tracy finds an empty stool by the bar and orders a Long Island Ice Tea, which she begins to sip on once it is brought to her.

If I'm gonna party, I may as well do it the right way...

Vaeltia had waited her time outside, the lines were easy enough to wait through, but finally made it through the doors. She was dressed in a simple black minidress and flame boots. She walked up to the bar, wondering what to get; probably something different than what she normally did. But it was always easier to ask someone else to help her choose.

She walked up to one woman ( Psychangel ) with a glass already in hand. “Hello.” she said to her over the music. “You seem like someone who knows what they’re doing. I’m thinking about trying something new, have any suggestions?”

“Sounds good.” The blond said before turning to the bartender and ordering one of her own. She slid money out of her boot to pay for it and then turned back to the woman. “The name’s Emily, pleasure to meet you, and thanks for the suggestion.” an equally friendly smile spread across her face as she took the martini.

“Thanks, mmmmm.” she said after a small sip.

Otto had never been in the Avalon, but according to his younger staff, it was the place to be. Personally Otto perfered a quiet more intimate place but one had to go where the glamour was. In line for the club, he felt a little out of place and a little old and not quite pretty enough. On the flip side when you were Spring that didn't really matter in the long run.

Finally entering getting through the doors, Otto made his way through the crowd and the bar. "Mojito please." Dressed in a green and white Tommy Bahama shirt, khaki pants and a white tilby hat, Otto looked around and felt out of place and still not pretty enough. He wasn't bad looking, just not the match of goddesses and gods about. But then again, Spring was Spring. Accepting his drink, the Beast slips a twenty across the bartender and turns around to the brunette beside him. @%1; "I don't know I've felt so old so fast just walking into a place." Otto says, smiling.
